Electronic apparatus, method for controlling electronic apparatus, and non-transitory recording medium
An electronic apparatus includes processing devices including first circuitry, a controller including second circuitry, and a memory storing a time-out time and an extension time. The first circuitry that detects an abnormality, transmits an abnormality occurrence notification, transmits a preparation completion notification, and transmits an extension request. The second circuitry transmits a restart preparation instruction to the processing devices excluding a source of the abnormality occurrence notification, waits for the preparation completion notification until an elapse of the time-out time. The second circuitry restarts the processing devices in response to the preparation completion notification from the processing devices or the elapse of the time-out time. The second circuitry extends the time-out time by the extension time in response to the extension request and restarts the processing devices in response to the preparation completion notification or the elapse of the extension time.
Image forming apparatus
A image forming apparatus includes a power control unit, an operation mode control unit, and a first timer. The power control unit performs control so as to switch between a normal power state for supplying the operation power supply voltage to the image forming unit, a first power saving state for not supplying the operation power supply voltage to the image forming unit, and a second power saving state having less power consumption than the first power saving state. The operation mode control unit performs control so as to switch a normal mode corresponding to a normal power state, a first power saving mode corresponding to a first power saving state, and a second power saving mode corresponding to a second power saving state.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a housing, a door, an inlet, a primary power source, a secondary power source, a primary interlock switch, and a secondary interlock switch. The housing has an opening. The door is hinge-coupled to the housing by a hinge, and opens and closes the opening. The inlet is provided near the hinge. The secondary power source is provided farther from the inlet than the primary power source. The first interlock switch is provided on a primary electric circuit between the inlet and the primary power source, and is turned off when the door is opened. The second interlock switch is provided on a secondary electric circuit between the primary power source and the secondary power source, and is turned off when the door is opened. The primary interlock switch is disposed closer to the inlet than the secondary interlock switch.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a printing section, an electrostatic touch panel, a power source circuit section, and a contact member. The printing section performs printing. The electrostatic touch panel receives a touch operation by a user. The power source circuit section receives supply of power from a commercial power source and supplies power to the printing section and the electrostatic touch panel. The contact member is connected to a ground of an image forming apparatus and is touched by a user operating the electrostatic touch panel.
POWER SUPPLY APPARATUS WITH SMOOTHING CAPACITOR AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A power supply apparatus for converting an AC voltage supplied from a power supply to a DC voltage includes a rectification circuit, a smoothing capacitor, a transformer, a voltage dividing circuit, and controller. The AC voltage is rectified by the rectification circuit and smoothed by the smoothing capacitor. The switching circuit switches between a first state in which the smoothed voltage is supplied to a first winding of the transformer and a second state in which the smoothed voltage is not supplied to the first winding. The voltage dividing circuit divides the smoothed voltage to a divided voltage by a ratio which depends on whether the AC voltage is being input to the power supply apparatus, and the divided voltage is applied to the controller. The controller controls the switching of the switching circuit according to the divided voltage applied from the voltage dividing circuit.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE
A wireless communication device includes: a main substrate including: a first connector having a detection terminal, an earth terminal and an output terminal; a current circuit configured to cause current to flow toward the detection terminal; a ground wired to the earth terminal; a power supply circuit configured to supply a voltage toward the output terminal; and a controller configured to stop supply of the voltage to the output terminal by the power supply circuit; and a wireless communication substrate including a second connector having a first terminal, a second terminal, and an input terminal, the first terminal and the second terminal being electrically connected, in which the controller is configured to detect that the current no longer flows via the detection terminal, the first terminal, the second terminal and the earth terminal.
Processor having a plurality of cores and a controller that switches power states based on cores state
An apparatus includes a control unit that switches a power state between first and second power states, the first power state being a state where one of a plurality of cores is usable and the other cores are unusable, the second power state being a state where the plurality of cores is unusable. Based on reception of the predetermined signal in a case where the apparatus is in the second power state, the control unit causes the apparatus to transition from the second power state to the first power state, and under a first condition to be met after the transition to the first power state in a case where the apparatus is in the first power state, the control unit causes the apparatus to transition from the first power state to the second power state.
Image reading apparatus with movable apparatus body
An image reading apparatus includes a support portion in contact with a mount surface on which the apparatus is mounted, an apparatus body portion that is provided so that a position thereof is changeable by being rotated relative to the support portion, and a discharge tray provided so as to be openable/closeable relative to the apparatus body portion, the discharge tray receiving the original. The apparatus body portion is switchable between a first position that is a position while not in use, and a second position in which reading of the original is performed. When the apparatus body portion is in the first position and when the discharge tray is opened from the closed state, the discharge tray switches the apparatus body portion from the first position to the second position.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to, when connected devices whose number is greater than a predetermined number are connected to the information processing apparatus, the predetermined number indicating the maximum number of devices simultaneously supplied with power, switch a power supply destination between the connected devices so as to obtain a state in which the number of connected devices simultaneously supplied with power is equal to or less than the predetermined number.
