An imaging apparatus includes a storing unit configured to, when recording pieces of image data obtained by an imaging unit on a plurality of recording media, respectively temporarily store the pieces of image data obtained by the imaging unit in a plurality of storage regions corresponding to the plurality of recording media, a recording control unit configured to perform control to respectively record the pieces of image data temporarily stored in the plurality of storage regions on the plurality of recording media corresponding to the plurality of storage regions, and a display control unit configured to perform control to display information indicating a use status of a storage region on a display unit, wherein the display control unit performs control to display information indicating the use status only with respect to one storage region out of the plurality of storage regions.

A method is disclosed. For example, the method executed by a processor of a multi-function device (MFD) includes detecting use of the MFD, wherein the MFD is associated with a plurality of MFDs that are designated as a cluster within a location, deactivating the MFD in response to use of the MFD being detected, transmitting a first notification to deactivate the plurality of MFDs within the cluster in response to use of the MFD being detected, initiating a decontamination process within the location in response to the use of the MFD being detected, receiving an indication that the decontamination process is completed, transmitting a second notification to reactivate the plurality of MFDs within the cluster, and reactivating the MFD.

An information processing apparatus includes a detection section that detects an operation to be performed with respect to a device by a user in a non-operation state with respect to the device, and a prohibition section that prohibits reboot of the device in a case where the operation to be performed on the device is detected by the detection section.

According to one embodiment, there is provided an image forming device that prevents write information from being incorrectly written to a non-target RFID tag. The image forming device according to the embodiment includes: a placement unit, a wireless tag communication unit, and a conductor. A sheet provided with a wireless tag can be placed in the placement unit. The wireless tag communication unit can write information to the wireless tag provided on the sheet. The conductor is provided in the placement unit and hinders communication between the wireless tag communication unit and the wireless tag.

An image forming apparatus includes a first controller, a selection section, and a second controller. The first controller performs control in which a second operation screen is displayed on a terminal apparatus that is connected to the image forming apparatus in a manner communication is possible, the second operation screen being generated on the basis of a first operation screen of the image forming apparatus. A method is disclosed. For example, the method executed by a processor of a multi-function device (MFD) includes receiving a video image of a multi-function device (MFD), applying an object detection model to the video image to generate an annotated image with bounding boxes around persons detected in the video image, determining a number of the bounding boxes, determining that the number of bounding boxes is greater than a threshold in a policy associated with the MFD, and deactivating the MFD.

A reading device and an image forming apparatus are provided. The reading device includes an image reading device configured to read an image on a recording medium being conveyed, a background device serving as a background image when the image is read by the image reading device, and a foreign-object detector configured to compare a first read image obtained as the background device is read by the image reading device with a second read image obtained as the background device and the recording medium are read by the image reading device to detect an attached foreign object. The image forming apparatus includes the reading device and an image forming device.

An image forming apparatus including an image forming unit, comprises, registering a speed license for setting an image forming speed; controlling permitting image formation by the image forming unit in a case where the speed license is registered in the registering; and controlling permitting the image formation by the image forming unit in a case where a predetermined condition is satisfied even if the speed license is unregistered in the registering.

In response to a determination to provide the first service, the first memory stores the first service identification information in the memory in association with the specific device identification information.
