Multifunction apparatus executing plurality of image processes in parallel, control method therefor, and storage medium storing control program therefor
A multifunction apparatus that is capable of executing a scan job and another image process in parallel without lowering a reading speed of a scanner unit. A reading unit reads a document according to an execution instruction for a predetermined image process. An image processing unit applies the predetermined image process to image data obtained by the reading unit. A clock controller controls an image transfer clock for transferring the image data to the image processing unit from the reading unit. The clock controller sets a frequency of the image transfer clock to a predetermined frequency in a case where the predetermined image process is executed independently. And the clock controller sets the frequency of the image transfer clock to a frequency lower than the predetermined frequency in a case where the predetermined image process is executed in parallel with another image process that differs from the predetermined image process.
SYNCHRONIZING MULTIPLE PRINTING PRESSES
In various examples, a master press and a slave press may be synchronized. A signal associated with the master press printing a first frame on a first web may be received. A point in time may be determined at which the slave press should begin printing, on a second web, a second frame corresponding to the first frame. The determining may be based on the signal associated with the master press and a first distance between the slave press and a downstream location at which the first and second webs converge. The slave press may be operated to begin printing the second frame at the point in time.
Information processing apparatus capable of resetting system, method of controlling same, and storage medium
An information processing apparatus capable of resetting the system when a sub CPU abnormally operates. A controller includes a main CPU for controlling operation of the system and a sub CPU for controlling operation of specific internal devices. A first WDT circuit and a second WDT circuit are set to a first timer time and a second timer time according to respective reset signals received from the sub CPU. According to a first interrupt signal output from the first WDT circuit based on expiration of the first timer time, the second timer time is controlled to be extended to a predetermined time and execution of a process for rebooting the controller is controlled. According to a second interrupt signal output from the second WDT circuit based on expiration of the extended second timer time, execution of a process for resetting the system is controlled.
METHOD AND DEVICE IN COMMUNICATION NODE USED FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
The present disclosure provides a method and a device in a communication node for wireless communications. The communication node in the present disclosure first receives first information, and then transmits a first radio signal; a length of a time interval between a start time for transmitting the first radio signal and a first reference time is equal to a sum of a first timing adjustment and a second timing adjustment, the first timing adjustment being one of X candidate timing adjustments, the X being a positive integer greater than 1; the second timing adjustment is used for determining a transmission timing of a radio signal transmitted before the first radio signal in time domain; a transmitter of the first radio signal determines the first timing adjustment out of the X candidate timing adjustments by itself. The present disclosure can improve uplink synchronization performance.
IMAGE READING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING IMAGE READING PROGRAM, AND IMAGE READING METHOD
An image reading device includes plural light sources that irradiate an image reading target with light at different angles; and a switching mechanism that sequentially switches the light incident to the image reading target from the plural light sources during an image reading operation on the image reading target.
Image scanning apparatus, and method and apparatus for controlling receiving of image scanning optical signal
An image scanning apparatus, and a method and an apparatus for controlling receiving of an image scanning optical signal are provided. The mage scanning apparatus may include an array photosensitive pixel unit configured to receive at least one optical signal, and a control circuit connected with the array photosensitive pixel unit and configured to control the array photosensitive pixel unit to receive the at least one optical signal. With the adoption of the image scanning apparatus, and the method and the apparatus for controlling receiving of the image scanning optical signal, the problem in the related art that an image is easily interfered by external stray lights within a non-exposure time of a scanning period and accordingly quality of a scanned image is reduced may be solved.
OPTICAL SCANNING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An optical scanning device includes a light source, a deflector, a random number generator, a selection part, a random number assignment part and an exposure control part. The light source includes a plurality of light emitting parts arranged in a predetermined direction at fixed intervals in a sub-scanning direction. The random number assignment part is configured to assign a random number sequence to each light emitting part constituting a set of target light emitting parts as an index for specifying a timing at which a light emitting time of the set of target light emitting parts is set to a correction value different from a reference value and to update the assignment of the random number sequence at a random number update period. The random number update period coincides with a scanning period of each light emitting part constituting the set of target light emitting parts.
Display control device, display control system and image forming apparatus
A display control device includes: a management unit that manages a display time period when displaying each of a plurality of messages on a display device for each user; a setting unit that sets the display time period on the basis of an operation of a user; and a control unit that controls display of the message on the basis of the display time period managed by the management unit.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, COMPUTER-READABLE NON-TEMPORARY RECORDING MEDIUM STORING OPERATION SCREEN CONTROL PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM
An image forming device stores operation screen information showing various information of an operation screen in the image forming device; displays the operation screen that corresponds to the stored operation screen information; stores, as an operation screen information candidate which is a candidate for the operation screen information, various information, of a new operation screen, sent from outside; and updates (S224), at a timing according to contents of a difference between the various information of the operation screen shown in the stored operation screen information candidate and the various information of the operation screen shown in the stored operation screen information, the stored operation screen information with the stored operation screen information candidate.
Information processing apparatus, non-transitory computer readable medium, and information processing method
An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to: control an operation of the information processing apparatus by executing a control program; in response to reception of an instruction to enter a power-supply off state, determine whether a first power-supply off state is allowed to be entered, the first power-supply off state being a state in which, while a current operation state is held without execution of a restart of the control program, the operation is stopped; in response to a determination result indicating that the first power-supply off state fails to be entered, perform a redetermination after a lapse of a set time, the redetermination determining whether the first power-supply off state is allowed to be entered; and in response to the redetermination determining that the first power-supply off state is allowed to be entered, cause the first power-supply off state to be entered, and, in response to the redetermination determining that the first power-supply off state is not allowed to be entered, cause a second power-supply off state to be entered, the second power-supply off state being a state in which, after the control program is restarted and an initialization process is performed, the operation is stopped.
