If a discovery packet is received from the mobile device via P2P interface, the control unit is operable to control the image forming apparatus to process the discovery packet.

The first notification unit notifies, in a case where the determining unit determines that the attribute information does not correspond, a user that the attribute information does not correspond to the sheet attribute information. The selection unit selects the stored sheet attribute information to change the attribute information of sheets to be used by the job. The second notification unit notifies, in accordance with selection of the sheet attribute information, the user that the attribute information of sheets to be used by the job corresponds to the stored sheet attribute information.
