Image forming apparatus which adjusts environment conditions based on task document, image forming system, and method for controlling the image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an acquisition unit, a printing unit that performs a printing job, a communication unit, and a control unit. An installed device is an illumination device. Upon determining that a printing document is a first task document, the control unit controls the communication unit to transmit a first color change instruction. Upon determining that a printing document is a second task document, the control unit controls the communication unit to transmit a second color change instruction. The first color change instruction is an instruction for increasing a color temperature of illumination light. The second color change instruction is an instruction for decreasing a color temperature of illumination light.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD BY THE SAME
In accordance with an embodiment, an image forming apparatus comprises a measurement section configured to measure first environmental information of a measurement position in a first period; an acquisition section configured to acquire first external environmental information measured by a first external device; and a controller configured to estimate second environmental information of the measurement position in a second period different from the first period using the first external environmental information, and perform control to execute a maintenance operation based on the second environmental information.
Image forming system and image forming apparatus
A discharge unit discharges a sheet having an image thereon. A switching unit switches between stacking the sheet discharged from the discharge unit on a stacking unit or conveying the sheet from the discharge unit toward an image reading apparatus. A conveyance unit conveys the sheet conveyed via the switching unit to a reading unit. A cooling unit cools the sheet discharged from the discharge unit or cools the reading unit.
Image capturing apparatus, image capturing system, and movable apparatus
An image capturing apparatus includes a plurality of pixels arranged on a substrate, a temperature signal output unit arranged on the substrate and configured to output a temperature signal representing a temperature, and a reference signal output unit arranged on the substrate and configured to output a reference signal used to correct the temperature signal. The temperature signal output unit and the reference signal output unit are arranged in regions different from each other on the substrate.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a first temperature sensor inside the image forming apparatus and configured to detect a temperature. A controller is configured to execute a first position shift correction for each of a plurality of toner images used in printing an image when the first temperature sensor detects a change in temperature from a previously detected temperature exceeds a first threshold value set for a first temperature range. After the first position shift correction, the controller executes a second position shift correction if the detected change exceeds a second threshold value set for a second temperature range higher than the first temperature range and the temperature is outside a prescribed temperature range, and skips the second position shift correction otherwise.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE CORRECTION METHOD
An image forming apparatus comprises a first temperature detector to detect a temperature of a first portion of an optical scanning device in a printer. The first portion is proximate to a heat generating element in the optical scanning device. A second temperature detector is provided to detect a temperature of a second portion of the optical scanning device, which is farther from the heat generating element than the first portion. A controller is configured to perform alignment control for correcting a color positional shift of the printer when either a detected temperature change of the first portion is greater than or equal to a first threshold value or a detected temperature change of the second portion is greater than or equal to a second threshold value.
Solid state imaging device
Provided is an imaging device including a pixel array including pixels; a readout circuit that reads out signals from the pixels; a temperature sensor that outputs a signal in accordance with a temperature; and a current control circuit that controls a current supplied to the temperature sensor. The current control circuit performs control in a first period such that a predetermined current is supplied to the temperature sensor, and performs control in a second period such that a current supplied to the temperature sensor becomes smaller than the predetermined current or stops. The first period is set in a first blanking period between a process in which the first readout circuit reads out one frame of signals output from the pixels and a process in which the first readout circuit reads out next one frame of signals output from the pixels.
DROPS BASED ON MEDIA TEMPERATURE
In an example, a print system identifies a number of drops to eject corresponding to an expected variation in print fluid based on media temperature and generate print instructions to operate a fluid eject device to that effect. In another example, a print system includes a temperature engine to identify a temperature, a compensator engine to identify a number of drops of print fluid based on the media temperature, and a control engine to generate print instructions to operate a fluid ejection device to place the number of drops of print fluid on media.
