An image reading apparatus includes a main body, a document pressing plate, and a light shielding portion. The main body has an image obtaining portion which irradiates illumination light on a document placed on a contact glass and captures an image formed on the document. The document pressing plate is attached to the main body in such a way as to pivot around a pivot shaft that is provided on a rear side above an upper surface of the main body. The pivot shaft moves in an up-down direction with respect to the main body. The light shielding portion, when the document pressing plate presses downward the document, extends downward from the document pressing plate with increase of an interval between the document pressing plate and the upper surface on the rear side in the up-down direction, so as to shield the illumination light not to leak outside.

An image forming apparatus includes an optical sensor configured to detect reflected light from a detection image formed on the transfer member. The optical sensor includes a light emitting element configured to emit light for irradiating the detection image at a predetermined angle of incidence, a first light receiving element arranged at a position at which diffused reflected light from the detection image is received at a first angle of reflection, and a second light receiving element arranged at a position at which the diffused reflected light from the detection image is received at a second angle of reflection.

Scanning imaging part, scanning imaging device, and electronic apparatus

The present disclosure provides a scanning imaging part, and related products and methods. The scanning imaging part includes a transparent body, a light blocking ink, a charged liquid droplet, and a microfluidic component. The transparent body may include a first face and a second face opposite to each other. An image sensor may be arranged on the second face. The charged liquid droplet and the light blocking ink may be insoluble with each other, and may be filled in a liquid flow channel. The charged liquid droplet may transmit at least a part of light incident from the first face through the charged liquid droplet and to the image sensor. The microfluidic component may drive the charged liquid droplet to move in the liquid flow channel. Thereby, light incident from the first face may be scanned via the charged liquid droplet and form a scanning image by the image sensor.
