A facsimile communication device includes circuitry to count, for each of one or more facsimile numbers, at least one of the number of facsimile transmission times and the number of output times that is stored in association with a corresponding one of the one or more facsimile numbers. The circuitry determines whether registration of a specified facsimile number for unwanted facsimile is reasonable to be performed, based on at least one of the number of facsimile transmission times associated with the specified facsimile number and the number of output times associated with the specified facsimile number. The specified facsimile number is included in the one or more facsimile numbers. The circuitry registers the specified facsimile number for the unwanted facsimile in response to determining that the registration of the specified facsimile number for the unwanted facsimile is reasonable to be performed.

An instruction apparatus that instructs a processing apparatus to perform a process includes an information acquiring unit, an apparatus-information transmitting unit, and a display. The information acquiring unit acquires information on the processing apparatus. The apparatus-information transmitting unit simultaneously transmits the information on the processing apparatus acquired by the information acquiring unit and information on the instruction apparatus to a management apparatus. A computer-implemented method being performed in a computerized system comprising a processing unit, a memory, a projector and a camera, the projector and the camera positioned above a surface, the computer-implemented method comprising: using the camera to acquire an image of a document placed on the surface; using the acquired image of the document to obtain at least a portion of a text of the document; using the obtained at least the portion of the text of the document to find a plurality of documents relevant to the document; using the obtained at least the portion of the text of the document to find a plurality of persons relevant to the document; and using the projector to display at least one of a first plurality of thumbnail images corresponding to the plurality of relevant documents and at least one of a second plurality of thumbnail images corresponding to the plurality of relevant persons.

A method for tagging images in a social network is provided. The method may include enabling a capture of an image associated with an online group discussion. The method may further include allowing an automatic tagging of the image associated with the online group discussion, the image including a visual representation of a first participant of the online group discussion. The method may also include providing the first participant with an option to indicate whether to approve distribution of the tagged image. The method may also include receiving an indication from the first participant whether to approve the distribution of the tagged image. When the indication from the first participant whether to approve the distribution of the tagged image indicates approval of the distribution, the method may further include distributing the tagged image, based at least in part on the indication of approval of distribution of the tagged image.

A mark information recording apparatus includes an output unit and a recording unit. The output unit is configured to output, for displaying a partial image being a part of an entire image having an arbitrary resolution among entire images generated at a plurality of different resolutions with respect to a single target, the partial image.
