An example embodiment may involve causing a page of a document to be printed on a printing device, wherein the printing device is in an AM halftoning mode and prints the page using an AM halftone; displaying, on the display unit, a graphical user interface, wherein the graphical user interface includes a selectable option to switch the printing device from the AM halftoning mode to an FM halftoning mode; receiving an indication that the selectable option has been selected; possibly in response to receiving the indication that the selectable option has been selected, causing the printing device to switch from the AM halftoning mode to the FM halftoning mode; and causing the page of the document to be printed again on the printing device, wherein the printing device is in the FM halftoning mode and prints the page using an FM halftone.

One or more image processing apparatuses, control methods and storage mediums for use therewith are provided herein. At least one image processing apparatus receives, from a communication terminal, setting information relating to transmission of image data. Upon reception of the setting information from the communication terminal, the image processing apparatus displays a confirmation screen containing a message regarding the setting information. The image processing apparatus displays a different message in the confirmation screen displayed on a display device depending on a condition of the image processing apparatus.

An image forming apparatus includes a setting unit, an image reading unit, an image forming unit, and a setting changing unit. The setting unit sets copying conditions. The image reading unit reads images from sheets to generate image data and writes the image data into a memory unit. The image forming unit forms images on sheets based on the image data written into the memory unit. The setting changing unit changes the setting of the copying conditions when a new copying condition is set during the image forming of the image data written into the memory unit.

An image forming apparatus includes a receiving processing portion, a first printing processing portion, and a second printing processing portion. The receiving processing portion is configured to receive an operation for designating a designation page to which a predetermined printing condition is to be applied, of a document including a plurality of pages. The first printing processing portion is configured to print a partial document including the designation page, of the document. The second printing processing portion is configured to print a remaining document obtained by excluding the partial document from the document, in accordance with a predetermined confirmation operation after the printing by the first printing processing portion.

An information providing apparatus includes a receiving unit and a transmitting unit. The receiving unit receives, from a terminal device connected to the information providing apparatus via a communication path, operation state information indicating an operation state of the terminal device. The priorities are assigned to the plural pieces of specific information in accordance with the specific operation state.

An image processing apparatus for reading a document to generate image data using a reading unit performs, receiving a job including a document reading-and-transmission job for causing the reading unit to read a document to generate image data and then transmitting the image data to a specified destination, from an information processing apparatus communicable via a network, storing the received job, displaying a list of the stored jobs in response to a user instruction, displaying a confirmation screen related to transmission setting contents of a document reading-and-transmission job selected from the list of jobs, and executing, in a case where execution of the selected document reading-and-transmission job is instructed via the confirmation screen, the document reading-and-transmission job.

A device management apparatus configured to manage a managed device connected thereto via a network, the device management apparatus includes circuitry configured to: present use change information that allows a use change instruction of a function provided in the managed device; determine set values corresponding to the use change instruction for set values of various setting items required to execute the function to which the use change is instructed; and change the set values of the setting items related to the function to which the use change is instructed, for each of managed devices, from the set values before the use change instruction to the determined set values.

An image forming apparatus, which forms an image on paper and is connected to be communicable with an image capturing apparatus that captures a person existing around the image forming apparatus, includes a receiving unit configured to receive a job, a generation unit configured to generate information representing a user who has input the job received by the receiving unit, and a transmission unit configured to transmit the information representing the user, which has been generated by the generation unit, to the image capturing apparatus.
