Multipurpose Wearable Weight Device
A multipurpose wearable weight device that can be used as a single leg weight, double leg weight, a single sided vest, a double-sided vest, or as a free weight. The weight device can be used individually, with cable machines, with resistance bands, or in other similar ways. The weight device comprises a vest body with horizontal straps for securing the vest body and pockets for holding flexible weighted tubes. Further, a plurality of shoulder straps may be used to secure the weight device around the user. Additionally, a handle grip allows the user to lift the weight device of the present invention with their hand as a free weight. Further, the weight device may be rolled into a calf sleeve allowing the user to secure the weight device around their leg.
ELASTIC RESISTANCE SUPPORT
When a body in movement is weak and out of alignment it is prone to more injury, and such injury usually takes place in the overextension of muscles and joints, particularly manifesting in the spine during bending and lifting. This translates into a decrease that affects performance, efficiency, strength, stamina and endurance. The present invention provides a solution by encapsulating the body in an elastic resistance fully flexible support that provides structure to muscles and joints, reducing over extension and harnessing collective muscular cooperations to help all the muscles work together. The elastic resistance harness includes at least one thigh pad, an elastic tube to provide resistance, a series of buttons and locking mechanism through which the elastic tube can be threaded to connect the thigh pads, and in some embodiments, an upper body harness to apply resistance to the upper body, which can further be connected to the at least one thigh pad using the elastic tube.
Orthotic shoulder support
An orthotic support comprises a shoulder section for encapsulating a first shoulder of a wearer, a glove section for conforming to at least a portion of the wearer's hand, and a sleeve section for conforming to the wearer's arm, the sleeve section connecting the shoulder section to the glove section. A resilient reinforcement extends from the glove section to the shoulder section, and at least a portion of the reinforcement extends in a spiral around the sleeve section, so that the reinforcement is configured to apply a rotational force to the wearer's arm, when worn, to urge a portion of the wearer's arm to rotate in a predetermined direction. The orthotic support may be usable to treat or prevent shoulder dislocation or subluxation, arm over-pronation or over-supination, wrist flexion or elbow flexion. An orthotic support may comprise a reinforcement with a first branch extending over an anterior portion of the sleeve section, and a second branch extending over a posterior portion of the sleeve section, so that the reinforcement is configured to urge the wearer's upper arm towards a rest position.
Mobile training apparatus for receiving weights
A mobile training apparatus for receiving weights, in particular for sports activities, is composed of a back element and, articulated releasably on the latter, a carrying system with shoulder straps, and receiving regions for at least one weight are present on the back element and/or on the carrying system, wherein the back element extends from one end of the shoulder straps as far as the articulation at the pelvis strap. The back element is configured as a plate and can be divided into several plate parts, wherein the plate parts are releasably and separably connected to each other by a connecting element, and each plate part and/or the carrying system has at least one receiving region for receiving a weight or a weight plate.
EXERCISE DEVICE
Disclosed herein is a resistance exercise device and methods of using the same. In one embodiment, a resistance exercise device is disclosed comprising a quarter-wheel, a means for attaching resistance to said quarter-wheel, a support means attached to the axis of the quarter-wheel, whereby a user can perform core exercise while moving in a direction parallel to the line of resistance.
WEARABLE DEVICE USING FLEXIBLE NON-POWERED VARIABLE IMPEDANCE MECHANISM
The present invention relates to a wearable device using a flexible non-powered variable impedance mechanism, wherein the device can induce a user to have a correct posture during a squat exercise or lifting work, and can assist the user's muscular strength. According to the present invention, an angle between a (1-1)th lower string and a (1-2)th lower string and an angle between a (2-1)th lower string and a (2-2)th lower string change according to a knee angle depending on the user's posture, whereby an impedance mechanism that the user feels through the body changes.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXERTING FORCE ON BODIES
Systems and methods for exerting forces on a body, including a support structure defining a space and a plurality of surface contacting units that are configured to exert force upon the body, such that the weight is distributed away from the primary weight bearing regions to non-weight bearing regions of the body, or vice versa, without exerting significant shear or frictional forces on surfaces of the body. The systems and methods may be used to exert forces to cause fluid shift in different compartments of the body. Applications include treatment of various disease conditions including pressure ulcers, heart failure, high blood pressure, preeclampsia, osteoporosis, injuries of spine and to slow microgravity-induced bone and muscle loss. The systems and methods may be used to simulate gravity, weightlessness or buoyancy, in rehabilitation medicine. The system may include a chair, bed, a wearable suit or an exoskeleton.
SCALP MUSCLE EXERCISE APPARATUS
The disclosure provides an apparatus for exercising muscles of the head and/or neck. The apparatus comprises a harness, and a plate is pivotably connected to the harness. The plate is movable between a collapsed position and an exercise position where a back of the head of the user can engage with the plate. A biasing member biases the plate towards the collapsed position.
WEIGHTED PAD FOR WEIGHTLIFTING
A weighted pad for weightlifting is described herein. The weighted pad can be applied to any area of the body to provide additional padding, reduce redness, pain, and bruising. It can be used with dumbbells, barbells, free weights, or any other weight applied over the joints or musculoskeletal regions, making it highly versatile for various exercise.
