A system, method, and computer program product are provided for rendering a combined image. In use, two or more source images including at least one strobe image and at least one ambient image are loaded. A pixel-level correction is estimated for at least one of the two or more source images based on a pixel level correction function. At least one pixel of the two or more source images is color-corrected based on the pixel-level correction. A first blend weight associated with the two or more source images is initialized, and a first combined image from the two or more source images is rendered based on the color-correction and the first blend weight. According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes a scanner and a control unit. The scanner reads an image formed on a sheet, generates image data at a reading resolution, then stores the image data in a storage unit at a recording resolution. The control unit combines a reading direction image with the stored image data to generate synthesized image data, then records the synthesized image data in the storage unit. The control unit determines a position and size for the reading direction image in a synthesized image corresponding to the synthesized image data based upon the reading resolution and recording resolution.

A liquid discharge apparatus according to an aspect of the present disclosure is a liquid discharge apparatus for forming an image on a recording medium, the liquid discharge apparatus including a first image obtaining unit configured to obtain first image data, a second image generating unit configured to generate second image data by adding a predetermined figure to the first image data, a correcting unit configured to generate third image data obtained by correcting, for each of pages, the first image data, based on the second image data and read image data obtained by reading an image formed on the recording medium based on the second image data, and a liquid discharging unit configured to discharge liquid onto the recording medium, based on the third image data.

An image processing apparatus includes a generation unit configured to generate image data by scanning a document, a reception unit configured to receive a selection of a file including page data, the file being stored, and an addition unit configured to perform processing for adding the image data generated by the generation unit to the page data included in the selected file.

Methods and systems disclosed herein relate generally to systems and methods for transforming document elements in response to modifications to a layout of a document. A layout-modification application identifies, from a first document having a first document layout, a first set of measurements of a document element and a first location of the document element within the first document. Based on an aspect-ratio difference between the first document layout and a second document layout, the layout-modification application selects a set of transformation rules that specify, for the document element, a second set of measurements and a second location within a second document. To select the particular set of transformation rules, the layout-modification application uses the determined aspect-ratio difference. The layout-modification application applies the selected set of transformation rules to the document element.

An image processing apparatus is provided. The image processing apparatus accepts selection of an image that is to be processed, from among a plurality of images in which one scene is captured respectively at exposures that are different from each other, extends a first output range corresponding to an input range of brightness values of the selected image so as to be wider than a second output range that is the output range when the image is not selected, and outputs a combined image generated by combining the selected image for which the output range of brightness values has been extended to the first output range, and the unselected image.

Example implementations relate to emulating 3D texture patterns in a printer system. One example implementation receives an image having a number of image pixels and selects from a plurality of digital substrates which each correspond to a physical substrate. Each digital substrate has luminance change data corresponding to heights of a 3D texture pattern at respective locations of the physical substrate. An image having emulated 3D texture is generated by adjusting the luminance of the image pixels corresponding to respective locations of the physical substrate and according to the corresponding luminance change data.
