A reading apparatus includes: a reading unit reading a document; a determination unit determining whether or not inclination correction of a document image is performed based on a shape of a circumscription image which is a circumscribed rectangle of the document image read from the document; and an output unit outputting an image according to a determination result.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF DISPLAYING SETTING OF IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A display processor of a controller extracts data such as images and characters from display data stored in a storage based on setting information stored in the storage, and displays a document orientation instructing pane and a 90-degree rotation operation icon in a document image operating pane on a display device. The display processor also displays a print preview image based on the document image data. When a rotation operation is performed through the 90-degree rotation operation icon, the document image data is also subjected to the same rotation process.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an exposure head including light emitting elements arranged in an intersecting direction intersecting with a rotation direction of a photosensitive member to form an image at a first resolution corresponding the light emitting elements in the intersecting direction; a data generating unit configured to generate pixel data corresponding to a second resolution higher than the first resolution associating with positions of the pixel data; a correction unit configured to correct associations between the positions and the pixel data to adjust a position of an image in the intersecting direction; a conversion unit configured to convert the pixel data corresponding to the second resolution to pixel data corresponding to the first resolution; and a drive unit configured to drive the light emitting elements based on the pixel data corresponding to the first resolution.
Reading device and image forming apparatus
A reading device is configured to detect an edge position of a target object to be conveyed in a conveyance direction. The edge position is a position of an edge of the object in a width direction intersecting the conveyance direction. The reading device includes a sensor device, an adder, and an edge position detector. The sensor device includes a pixel array including a plurality of elements arranged in the width direction. The adder is configured to add detection signals output from the elements at respective positions in the width direction. The edge position detector is configured to detect the edge position on basis of a position at which an output of the adder changes to a value larger than a threshold. Each element is configured to output a detection signal based on a reception amount of light in one of different wavelength bands.
Printing apparatus and computer-readable storage medium
A printing apparatus, including a printing device, a communication interface, a memory, and a controller, is provided. In a case where the controller determines that an image in image data is to be rotated and that a predetermined condition is satisfied, the controller conducts rotation of the image in the image data concurrently with rasterization of the image data and stores raster data including the rotated image in the memory. In a case where the controller determines that the image in the image data is to be rotated and that the predetermined condition is not satisfied, the controller conducts rasterization of the image data without rotating the image in the image data, and rotates a raster image in the raster data stored in the memory and generates the print data from the raster data including the rotated raster image.
Image processing apparatus receiving setting values for scan process and outputting scan data
In an image processing apparatus, in a case where setting values indicate to create scan data by using digital halftoning and requires execution of a prescribed process using a result of character recognition, a controller outputs an instruction to create multiple-value scan data having a pixel value represented by two or more bits. The controller executes the character recognition on the multiple-value scan data. The controller converts the multiple-value scan data into converted scan data by using digital halftoning, and executes the prescribed process on the converted scan data. In a case where the setting values indicate to create scan data by using a method different from the digital halftoning, and requires execution of the prescribed process, the controller outputs an instruction to create setting-based scan data. The controller executes the character recognition on the setting-based scan data. The controller executes the prescribed process on the setting-based scan data.
IMAGING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An imaging apparatus includes an imaging unit, a detection unit that detects orientation of the imaging apparatus, a control unit that implements control such that a still image or a moving image captured by the imaging unit is recorded in a recording medium, a first setting unit that sets whether orientation information based on the orientation detected by the detection unit is recorded together with the still image captured by the imaging unit, and a second setting unit that sets whether the orientation information based on the orientation detected by the detection unit is recorded together with the moving image captured by the imaging unit.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
An image processing apparatus includes a unit that acquires image data of a target image which is a target of image processing, a unit that acquires a display image showing a target image state, and a unit that performs image processing corresponding to the target image state with respect to the image data of the target image, based on the acquired display image.
