COMMERCIAL SECTION DETECTION DEVICE, COMMERCIAL SECTION DETECTION METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A CM section within a broadcast program is detected with high accuracy. ACM section detection device 100 includes: a CM section detection unit 120 that detects one or more CM sections by comparing a volume of a broadcast program with a volume threshold, and generates detected CM sections representing the CM sections that have been detected; and a CM section correction unit 140 that corrects the detected CM sections based on a sponsorship credit display section that is a section which is included in the broadcast program and in which a sponsorship credit indicating a sponsor of the broadcast program is displayed.
COMMERCIAL INFORMATION GENERATING DEVICE, COMMERCIAL INFORMATION GENERATING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Information related to CMs included in a broadcast program can be automatically added. A CM information generation device 100 includes: a CM section detection unit 120 that detects one or more CM sections within a broadcast program by comparing the volume of the broadcast program with a volume threshold; a CM detection list generation unit 150 that generates a CM detection list describing company names of companies that have advertised detected CMs, which are CMs in the CM sections detected by the CM section detection unit 120, by cross-referencing the detected CMs with CM masters that have been associated with company names of advertisers in advance; a company name list generation unit 170 that generates a company name list describing company names that are specified by a sponsorship credit display indicating sponsors of the broadcast program; and a CM information generation unit 180 that generates CM information related to the detected CMs by comparing the CM detection list with the company name list.
Notifications for deviations in depiction of different objects in filmed shots of video content
A video editing device includes a memory that stores first video content and includes circuitry that extracts a first image frame of a first filmed shot of the first video content and a second image frame of a second filmed shot of the first video content. The first image frame is a last frame of the first filmed shot and the second image frame is a first frame of the second filmed shot. The circuitry detects a first set of objects from the extracted first image frame and a second set of objects from the extracted second image frame. The circuitry further generates and outputs notification information associated with a first object based on a deviation of at least a first visual attribute of the first object in the first image frame from at least a second visual attribute of the first object in the second image frame.
Detection of volume adjustments during media replacement events using loudness level profiles
In one aspect, an example method includes (i) determining, by a playback device, a loudness level of first media content that the playback device is receiving from a first source; (ii) comparing, by the playback device, the determined loudness level of the first media content with a reference loudness level indicated by a loudness level profile for the first media content; (iii) determining, by the playback device, a target volume level for the playback device based on a difference between the determined loudness level of the first media content and the reference loudness level; and (iv) while the playback device presents second media content from a second source in place of the first media content, adjusting, by the playback device, a volume of the playback device toward the target volume level.
Detection method for static image of a video and terminal, and computer-readable storage medium
Disclosed are a detection method for static image of a video, a detection terminal, and a computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: obtaining a frame image from the video as a reference frame image in a playback order, obtaining an image set comprising n frame images after the reference frame image in the playback order; sequentially determining whether first (n−1) frame images in the currently obtained image set satisfy a preset static image brightness requirement; determining whether a nth frame image in the image set satisfies a preset gray histogram judgment condition; determining whether a stop condition is satisfied according to the reference frame image and the nth frame image in the currently obtained image set; if the above determination results are yes, determining that a video image including the frame images from the reference frame image to the nth frame image in the current image set is a static image.
Monitoring loudness level during media replacement event using shorter time constant
In one aspect, an example method includes (i) determining, by a playback device, a first loudness level of a first portion of first media content from a first source while the playback device presents the first media content, with the first portion having a first length; (ii) switching, by the playback device, from presenting the first media content from the first source to presenting second media content from a second source; (iii) based on the switching, determining, by the playback device, second loudness levels of second portions of the first media content while the playback device presents the second media content, with the second portions having a second length that is shorter than the first length; and (iv) while the playback device presents the second media content, adjusting, by the playback device, a volume of the playback device based on one or more of the second loudness levels.
Automatic slow motion video recording
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for automated slow motion video recording. An example method can include storing, in a buffer, a sequence of ordered frames captured by an image sensor; sending, for display, a first frame from the sequence of ordered frames in the buffer at a time interval; calculating an amount of motion between the first frame in the buffer and a second frame in the buffer; determining, based on the amount of motion, a frame rate for encoding a set of frames from the sequence of ordered frames in the buffer, the set of frames including the second frame in the buffer and one or more frames sequentially between the first frame and the second frame; and encoding the set of frames at the frame rate determined.
VIDEO SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE AND VIDEO SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD
If a scene change is not detected by a scene change detector, in each frame until a count value of a frame counter reaches a predetermined value, a tone curve pattern updater sets a representative point group of a tone curve pattern selected in the most recent frame in which a count value is reset to an initial value as a representative point group for updating. By assuming that k is a number less than 1, the tone curve pattern updater generates a first multiplication value obtained by multiplying the set representative point group for updating by a coefficient (1−k) and a second multiplication value obtained by multiplying the representative point group output by the tone curve pattern updater in an immediately preceding frame of each frame by a coefficient k, and outputs a combined representative point group obtained by adding the first multiplication value and the second multiplication value.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
An electronic apparatus includes an interface circuitry; a display; a memory storing one or more instructions; and a processor configured to execute the one or more instructions to: receive a broadcast signal of any one of a plurality of channels through the interface circuitry, control the display to display an image of a content based on the received broadcast signal, identify timing when the content switches from a first content to a second content having a different type than the first content based on a change in a video characteristic defined corresponding to the type of the content, and perform a first operation related to the second content based on the identified timing.
