SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING AND INTERACTING WITH COORDINATED PRESENTATIONS
Disclosed is a system and method for generating a coordinated presentation. Content selected by a user is curated, and a plurality of images are captured for inclusion. A first data stream for the curated content and a second data stream for the captured images are received. A portion of a subject within each second data stream image is defined. An appearance of movement is tracked, and at least some of the plurality of images in the second data stream is modified. The respective content associated with the two data streams is integrated, including the modified at least some of the plurality of images, to generate the coordinated presentation that is capable of transmission to and receipt by one or more remote devices, and wherein the coordinated presentation is configured to enable interaction with at least a portion of the curated content at each of the one or more remote devices.
Display apparatus for generating a background image and control method thereof
A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a storage unit configured to, in response to a subject being captured, store a captured first image, an output unit configured to, in response to the first image being stored, output a guide message for guiding a subject so as to move out of a subject area of the first image, and a controller configured to, in response to the subject being moved and re-capturing being performed, acquire a re-captured second image, detect a local image area corresponding to the subject area of the first image from the second image, synthesize the detected local image area with the first image, generate a background image from which the subject is removed, and store the background image in the storage unit.
System and method for interactive video conferencing
A networked communication session is defined vis-à-vis parameter information received from a first device, and access to the networked communication session is provided to the first device. Access to the networked communication session is further provided to each of additional device(s) in accordance with information associated with each of the additional device(s). A composited interactive audio/video feed is generated and transmitted that comprises audio/video input received during the networked communication session from each of the devices. Each of the devices is configured via a gesture-based user interface to enable user-based selection and respective manipulation of at least a portion of the composited audio/video feed that results in a customized representation of the composited audio-video feed at a particular one device that is not represented at a particular other of the device(s).
System and method for providing and interacting with coordinated presentations
A system and method provide customizable interactive audio/video content to each of a plurality of computing devices. When executing at least some code stored in the memory, a processor generates a coordinated presentation by integrating in the memory, via a video mixer, one or more images from a camera with content selected by at least one user. Further the at least one processor is configured to process the coordinated presentation to provide an abridged version of the coordinated presentation at at least one of the remote devices.
Voice commands for the visually impaired to move a camera relative to a document
A system and method for providing aural guidance in imaging a document is disclosed. Visually impaired people may have difficulty when imaging a document with a mobile computing device. The system and method may analyze the image of the document in the imaging device, and output one or more aural directions in order for the user to move the document and/or camera for proper imaging of the document. In that regard, those with visual impairments may be assisted in imaging documents using a mobile computing device.
System and method for the collaborative creation of a final, automatically assembled movie
A system and method for collaboratively creating an automatically assembled movie is presented herein. The system and method includes identifying a predefined movie script, wherein the predefined movie script defines or includes a plurality of character roles, and for each of the plurality of character roles, includes at least one clip request. Users of the system and method are invited to join a movie making group, and once joined, are assigned to one of the character roles. For each of the character roles, the system and method will receive a raw or pre-processed media clip recorded by the user's device and which corresponds with the clip request. The pre-processed media clips are then automatically processed by the system and method according to script rules by applying filters or visual effects. The processed media files are the automatically combined according to script rules to create the final movie.
CALLBACK STREAM PROCESSING METHOD AND DEVICE
Embodiments of this application provide a callback stream processing method and a device, and relate to the field of electronic technologies. In a callback stream scenario, an electronic device may set a preview stream and a callback stream in parallel. After an application sets a callback function, the electronic device may directly return, by using the callback function, callback stream data to the application for processing. This can shorten a time consumed for creating a preview stream and a callback stream, shorten a time consumed for obtaining callback stream data, and shorten a user waiting time.
Automated customization of output intensity from a fitness apparatus
An intensity of fitness apparatus output can be customized for a user during a workout session. A user profile of the user may be accessed to determine a starting intensity value at which output is to be provided by the user's fitness apparatus. Based on this starting intensity value and on command data associated with a workout session, an intensity profile for the user may be determined (e.g., created), which is usable for controlling an intensity of the output of the fitness apparatus during the workout session. While media content featuring an instructor conducting the workout session is output on an output device, the user's device may send commands to the fitness apparatus to control the intensity of the output of the fitness apparatus in accordance with the starting intensity value and, subsequently, the intensity profile of the user.
Video script generation, presentation and video recording with flexible overwriting
A distributed computer system including a story application for a mobile computing device enables generation, presentation, and sharing of media using the device. Under control of a programmed story script, the story application invokes a camera of the device for recording a clip during an iteration for a character in a story while presenting a story script in a teleprompter manner. A clip for each different character in the story may be received to be combined therewith and presented as a scene on mobile computing device for viewing. Another iteration for the character may be recorded, and a resulting new clip may be combined with the clips for the other characters, or with different clips for the other characters, to generate another scene for the story script. Media presentations of the same story include multiple scenes each having a different interpretation. Scenes and/or clips may be shared using different applications.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF REMOTE VIDEO PRODUCTION, AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
A portable remote controlled video production apparatus and method are provided, as is a teleprompter/Interrotron integrated with a camera. A computer is mounted in a rigid cage, the computer having a local portion of remote access remote control software. A camera is fixedly mounted in the cage in communication with the computer; either the camera or the computer have camera control software running thereon. A monitor is fixedly mounted in the cage in front of the camera and parallel to the lens axis; the monitor is in communication with the computer. A beamsplitter is fixedly mounted in the cage in front of the lens reflecting light from the monitor towards a front of the cage. The camera and computer are controllable remotely via a remote portion of the remote access remote control software running on a remote computer communicating with the local portion of the remote access remote control software.
