In this system configuration, the display screen is arranged relative to the system to allow infrared light and visible light from a field of view to travel through the display screen and reach the sensors of the camera system, for example, using a hot mirror, a cold mirror, or a beam-splitter.

In a further example, the system includes a backdrop integrating the infrared light source, as infrared light from the infrared light source passes through the backdrop into the performance area.
