A recording arrangement is provided including at least one outer enclosure configured to receive and maintain therein a plurality of video recording devices and a matching plurality of audio recording devices, deployment hardware configured to deploy the plurality of video recording devices to a desired location, means for moving the deployment hardware, and electrical component hardware. The at least one outer enclosure is portable to different physical locations. The electrical component hardware is configured to deploy the plurality of video recording devices in a cross-shooting orientation wherein a first subject on a left side is video recordable by a first video recording device positioned on a right side and a second subject on the right side is video recordable by a second video recording device on the left side.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING PRODUCTS IN A SHELF MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Disclosed herein is a system and method of identifying products on a retail shelf using a feature extractor trained to extract features from images of products on the shelf and output identifying information regarding the product in the product image. The extracted features are compared to extracted features in a feature gallery library and a best fit match is obtained. A product ID is then assigned to the image of the product and the assigned product ID is validated by matching the product ID with product identifying information extracted from a shelf label associated with the image of the product.

Image processing apparatus and image processing method

According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus and an image processing method includes a processed image generation unit, a provisional detection unit, and a final detection unit. The processed image generation unit generates a processed image for detection processing from an image around a vehicle taken by a camera provided on the vehicle. The provisional detection unit scans a scanning frame of a predetermined size according to a detection target object on the processed image, and detects a plurality of position candidate regions of the detection target object within the processed image by determining a feature value for respective scanning positions using a dictionary of the detection target object. The final detection unit determines an overlapping region of the plurality of position candidate regions, and determines a final detection position of the detection target object within the processed image based on the overlapping region and the plurality of position candidate regions.
