Fitness device and exercise method for generating opposing muscle resistance
A fitness device contains a strap, a handle, and a plate. The strap is substantially inelastic and flexible. The plate is substantially rigid. The handle at least partially envelopes the strap. A method of exercising with such a fitness device is also described herein. Other fitness devices and other methods of use are also described herein.
Torque overdrive stair climber
Disclosed herein is a stair climber that includes a frame having a base, an upper axle and a lower axle, and steps revolvably coupled to the upper axle and the lower axle. The stair climber also includes an electric brake mechanism operating in generative mode and coupled with the steps and configured to provide a variable resistive force. Also included is a controller that receives an indication of a selected exercise mode from a user that includes a first speed, a second speed, and a difficulty level. The controller also balances a load, in a learning mode, on the steps based a user's weight at the first speed, and controls, in response to the user applying an additional load to the steps via a rail system, the electric brake mechanism to apply the difficulty level of the selected exercise mode and prevent the steps from exceeding the second speed.
INDOOR WAIST TWISTING MACHINE HAVING ELECTRONIC WEIGHT SCALE
Disclosed is an indoor waist exercise machine having an electronic weight scale. The indoor waist exercise machine having the electronic weight scale according to the embodiment may include an electronic weight scale, a rotary unit installed at a lower side of the electronic weight scale and including a rotary shaft disposed at one end thereof and a rotary sphere disposed at a lower end of the rotary shaft, a support unit installed below the rotary unit, spaced apart from the rotary unit, and having a coupling groove portion, and a control unit configured to control and lower the rotary unit so that the rotary sphere and the coupling groove portion are fitted with each other when a weight detected by the electronic weight scale exceeds a preset critical value.
Folding Exercise Bike
A folding exercise bike has handlebar telescoping members configured to support handlebars, seat telescoping members configured to support a seat, a lower frame member from which the seat telescoping members and the handlebar telescoping members extend, pedals having an attachment point above the lower frame member, a first pair of legs attached to one end of the lower frame member and a second pair of legs attached to another end of the lower frame member. Each leg of the first pair of legs extending at an oblique angle from the lower frame member in a deployed position configured to support the folding exercise bike on a surface and each leg of the second pair of legs extending from lower frame member at an oblique angle in the deployed position.
EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD
An exercise system includes a frame, an upper body carriage, a lower body carriage, a positioning carriage, a resistance assembly attached to the frame, and a connecting mechanism. The frame includes a right guide rail, a left guide rail, and a central guide rail disposed between the right guide rail and the left guide rail. The upper body carriage includes an upper right and an upper left carriage slidingly attached to the right and left guide rail, respectively. The lower body carriage includes a lower right and lower left carriage slidingly attached to the right and left guide rail, respectively. The connecting mechanism mechanically couples one of the upper body carriage, the lower body carriage, or the carriage to the resistance assembly such that the resistance assembly applies a predetermined level of resistive force to the upper body carriage, the lower body carriage, and/or the tension carriage.
Multifunctional Kettlebell Exercise Device
A multifunctional kettlebell device is a uniquely designed kettlebell that can assist with a plurality of exercises. To accomplish this, the device includes loops and rings that may be attached to other equipment and accessories such as resistant bands, backpack straps, additional weights, or of the likes. Further, the device has a flat front and rear surface to prevent any bulgy uncomfortable force pushed against the body of the user when lifting the kettlebell. In addition to the flat surface, the device includes a unique indentation that assists with maintaining proper body posture and weight distribution while the invention is being used. Thus, the multifunctional kettlebell device is an exercise equipment with plurality of accessory attachment provisions, as well as a convenient and user-friendly shape.
Exercise Bar
Disclosed is an exercise device includes an elongated body having a top surface, bottom surface, a first end surface and a second end surface, a first bore hole located proximate the first end surface, the first bore hole extending from the top surface through to the bottom surface, a first vertical member sized in relative proportions to be slidably received in the first bore hole, a first locking hole orthogonal to the first bore hole, a first pin sized in relative proportions to be slidably received in the first locking hole, and a first height adjustment hole of the first vertical member, the first height adjustment hole sized in relative proportions to slidably receive the first pin.
PORTABLE RESISTANCE WORKOUT APPARATUSES AND SYSTEMS
A portable strength training apparatus includes a resistance band having a first end and a second end, a platform base, and a force sensor. The first end of the resistance band is removably coupled to the platform base. The force sensor is removably coupled to the second end of the resistance band. The force sensor includes a force transducer comprising electronic circuitry to measure resistance force values applied to the resistance band.
APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTED ROW EXERCISE
An exercise device configured to provide for a lifter performing a bent-over row exercise. The exercise device provides lower back support and stability to the lifter. Embodiments of the device may be attachable to an exercise rack or be configured as a standalone device. An embodiment of the exercise device may comprise an adjustable support pad configured to support the chest of a lifter. The adjustable support pad rotates about an axis to optimize comfort and alleviate lower back strain during bent-over row exercises.
