Player and play method
A player and a play method are capable of displaying image and/or playing music according to a ranging result. The player has a wireless communication function for establishing a wireless connection with a portable device. The player is configured to obtain a received signal strength index (RSSI) of the portable device according to a wireless signal from the portable device, then calculate an estimation distance between the player and the portable device according to the RSSI to obtain the ranging result, and then determine at least one play parameter such as the brightness or the volume of the player according to the ranging result.
Spatial Audio In Video Conference Calls Based On Content Type Or Participant Role
Systems and methods for multi-attendee video conferencing are described. A system can perform spatial audio modulation techniques in video conference calls based on content type or participant role. In particular, by assigning user roles and content types to specific regions in a two- or three-dimensional audio sound space or “soundstage,” users can identify—simply by listening—the source of the audio (e.g., who the current speaker is and/or whether the sound came from a specific type of content). Thus, in example implementations of the present disclosure, each of a number of conference roles and/or content types can be allocated a particular virtual location within the audio soundstage.
Media processing device, media broadcasting system, and media processing method
The present disclosure relates to a media broadcasting system, including a first broadcasting device, a second broadcasting device and a processing device. The first broadcasting device and the second broadcasting device are respectively arranged at a first side and a second side of the media broadcasting system. The processing device is electrically coupled to the first broadcasting device and the second broadcasting device, and is configured to receive a media. The processing device is configured to obtain a first channel audio signal and a second channel audio signal from the media according to a first position parameter corresponding to the first broadcasting device and a second position parameter corresponding to the second broadcasting device. The processing device is further configured to transmit the first channel audio signal to the first broadcasting device and the second channel audio signal to the second broadcasting device.
Audio-visual system and method for controlling the same
An audio-visual system may include a housing comprising an open upper end and a storage space, an audio-visual device installed inside the housing and exposable through the open upper end, and a lifting device configured to expose or store the audio-visual device inside the housing through the open upper end. The audio-visual device may include a display, a speaker, and a processor configured to control the audio-visual system to operate in a first mode for outputting media art content while the display is stored in the housing according to a first event, operate in a second mode for outputting audio content through the speaker while part of the display is exposed through the open upper end according to a second event, and operate in a third mode for outputting a visual content while the entire display is exposed through the open upper end according to a third event.

Electronic apparatus, control method thereof, and recording medium
The disclosure relates to an electronic apparatus, a control method thereof, and a recording medium. The electronic apparatus includes: a signal processor configured to process a sound signal; and a processor configured to acquire positional information of a speaker that outputs sound, based on the processed sound signal, and perform a first correction so that a sound image of the sound signal has a predetermined reference spatial acoustic characteristic based on the acquired positional information of the speaker, and perform a second correction so that the sound image of the sound signal on which the first correction is performed has a target spatial acoustic characteristic.

HEAD WORN WIRELESS COMPUTER HAVING A DISPLAY SUITABLE FOR USE AS A MOBILE INTERNET DEVICE
A handheld wireless display device, having at least SVGA-type resolution, includes a wireless interface, such as Bluetooth™, WiFi™, Wimax™, cellular or satellite, to allow the device to utilize a number of different hosts, such as a cell phone, personal computer, media player. The display may be monocular or binocular. Input mechanisms, such as switches, scroll wheels, touch pads, allow selection and navigation of menus, playing media files, setting volume and screen brightness/contrast, activating host remote controls or performing other commands. The device may include MIM diodes, Hall effect sensors, or other position transducers and/or accelerometers to detect lateral movements along and rotational gestures around the X, Y and Z axes as gesture inputs and movement queues. These commands may change pages, scroll up, down or across an enlarged screen image, such as for web browsing. An embedded software driver (e.g., Microsoft Windows SideShow™) permits replicating a high-resolution screen display from a host PC. The device may repeatedly poll the host at intervals for updated content even when the host is powered off, asleep or hibernating, and may return the host to its previous power state.
Display apparatus and audio outputting method
A display apparatus includes a user inputter receiving a user input; a content receiver receiving content data from a content source; a display configured to display an image included in the content data; a sound output configured to output sound included in the content data; and a processor configured to decode the content data into sound data, set a sound parameter according to a result of reinforcement learning about the sound parameter based on the user input, convert the sound data into a sound signal according to the set sound parameter, and control the sound output to output the sound corresponding to the sound signal.
Display device and control method therefor
A display device and a control method therefor are disclosed. According to the disclosure, the display device comprises: a sensor for sensing the surrounding environmental state; an inputter for receiving a user command for content conversion; an outputter for outputting content corresponding to the user command; and a processor for controlling the outputter such that screen brightness and/or audio output strength of second content corresponding to the user command is changed and outputted, when the user command is inputted, on the basis of the sensed surrounding environmental state and/or output information of currently outputted first content. Therefore, the display device can variously output an output of content image and/or audio according to the surrounding environmental state.
