Collapsible yoga block
A yoga block includes panels forming a quadrilateral tube and secured to one another by hinges such that the tube may be collapsed. Endcaps secure to ends of the quadrilateral tube and engage the quadrilateral tube to resist collapse when in place. Panels may define protrusions engaging recesses on edges of the endcaps. Magnets in the endcaps may engage the hinges to secure the endcaps in place. Rotating or sliding tabs may also be used to lock the endcaps. Inner surfaces of top and bottom panels may define grooves for receiving a weight plate. Endcaps may be secured to panels by hinges. The hinges securing panels or endcaps may be double hinges.
PERSONAL ACTIVITY MAT
A personal activity exercise mat including a base, a first handle connected to the base, a second handle connected to the base, a first equipment connector connected to the base, a second equipment connector connected to the base, a first elastic band connected to the base, and a second elastic band connected to the base, wherein these components facilitate use of the personal activity mat for multiple different activities.
Resistance training equipment
A hex flex apparatus for improving resistance training is presented. The hex flex apparatus is useful for providing more than the standard two-dimension experience, in that a standard apparatus requires large jumps in band size and resistance to move up to the next level. The hex flex apparatus further adds a third dimension by allowing for smaller, more gradual increments to resistance, which leads to more and steadier strength progress before reaching a plateau or sticking point. A platform with two handles is described as is the band which is used to provide tension for resistance training. Further adjustable rods are shown which can be placed into various holes to control the tension and the rods have a ring magnet which provides for the rods being secured in the holes. The bands are further around the rods to access the value of the rods.
Interactive exercise apparatus
An interactive exercise apparatus for guiding a user to perform exercises includes a frame, a mirror, a display device, a driving mechanism, a determination unit, and a control unit. The mirror is movably mounted on the frame and configured to reflect an image of the user. The display device is disposed on a backside of the mirror and visible through the mirror. The driving mechanism is mounted between the frame and the mirror for electrically driving the mirror to move with respect to the frame. The determination unit is configured to determine location or posture of the user who performing the exercise. The control unit is operable to control the driving mechanism according to the location or posture of the user identified by the determination unit so as to control the mirror to move to a suitable position where the user can see their reflected image.
EXERCISE MAT WITH TEXTURED INSERTS
An exercise mat comprising: a base layer; a top layer comprising at least one pre-determined removable mat layer section; and at least one textured insert adapted for insertion into a gap in said top layer, wherein said gap is defined by the removal of said at least an one pre-determined removable mat layer section; wherein said at least one textured insert provides for a tactile sensation when a user applies pressure thereonto.
YOGA BLOCK WITH INTEGRATED MOBILE DEVICE RETAINER
A yoga block that consists of a body having a plurality of surfaces. At least one surface includes a recess sized and shaped to removably, securely receive a handheld mobile device. The recess includes retention means for engaging the mobile device with the body, the engagement being such that a display of the mobile device can remain accessible for viewing or control. The recess may be configured such that the device does not obtrusively protrude above the general surface in which the recess is formed.
INTERACTIVE EXERCISE APPARATUS
An interactive exercise apparatus for guiding a user to perform an exercise includes a frame, a mirror, a display device, a driving mechanism, and a control unit. The mirror is movably mounted on the frame and configured to reflect an image of the user. The display device is disposed on a backside of the mirror and visible through the mirror. The driving mechanism is configured to drive the mirror to move with respect to the frame. The control unit is operable to control the driving mechanism according to a location of the user so as to control the mirror to move to a suitable position where the user can see their reflected image.
Portable exercise support platform
Embodiments of the present invention comprise a portable exercise platform allowing users to exercise on a soft substrate. The portable exercise platform comprises at least three panels wherein the at least three panels are connected by at least one hinging device allowing the at least three panels to lay flat or fold into proximity to each other. The at least three panels are configured with a top surface and bottom surface such that the top surface is configured to support a user and the bottom surface is configured to contact the soft substrate when the portable exercise platform is lying flat.
FOLDING MAT FOR RELIEVING SCIATIC AND COCCYX PRESSURE WHEN EXERCISING AND MEDITATING
An elongated, segmented, folding mat with selectable relief segments that may be extended to create relief cutouts that relieve pressure upon a user's sciatica or coccyx when a user is sitting on a folded, multi-layer, elevated portion of the mat comprising a cushion. The cushion height may be raised or lowered by incorporating more or fewer folded sections of the mat into the cushion.
