Reflective screen, reflective screen unit, and video display device
A reflective screen including a Fresnel lens-shaped lens layer having unit lenses and a reflective layer formed on the unit lenses for reflecting light. The unit lens protrudes from a video source side to a back surface side in the thickness direction of the lens layer. In the lens layer, a flat part having a flat surface f on the back surface side is formed at at least one end edge. In the thickness direction of the lens layer, a maximum lens height h1max of a lens height h1 that is the distance from a position closest to the video source side to a position closest to the back surface side, and a flat surface height h2 that is the distance from the position closest to the video source side of the unit lens to the flat surface f of the flat part 114 satisfy h2h1max.
PROJECTION DEVICE AND PROJECTION SYSTEM
A projection device to magnify and project, on a screen, an image displayed at an image display element, includes: a dioptric system including at least one positive lens and at least one negative lens; and a reflection optical system having at least one reflection optical element.
Apparatus, method and article for a dual-program display
A system for enabling two different users to independently view and listen to two completely different programs on the same display at the same time is provided. A user wears eyeglasses with filters to filter out light from the program which the user does not want to view, while allowing the light from the program the user does want to view to be seen by the user. Successive frames of a first program are displayed using light polarized in one direction in an alternating manner with frames of a second program using light polarized in another direction. A first user wears glasses with lenses configured to filter out the light from the second program while a second user wears glasses to filter out the light from the first program. Thus, while wearing the glasses, the first user can see the first program while watching the display, but not the second program. Simultaneously, while wearing the other glasses, the second user will see the second program, but not the first program.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING ALIGNMENT OF A PROJECTION IMAGE TO DETECTED INFRARED (IR) RADIATION INFORMATION
A method of presenting a visible representation of infrared (IR) radiation information onto an observed real world scene based on IR radiation emitted from said observed real world scene, using a thermography arrangement comprising an IR imaging system, a visible light imaging system, and a visible light projecting system.
Projection device and projection system
A projection device to magnify and project, on a screen, an image displayed at an image display element, includes: a dioptric system including at least one positive lens and at least one negative lens; and a reflection optical system having at least one reflection optical element.
Playback apparatus, playback method and program
A playback apparatus to play back content data including sound data includes an instruction operating portion to detect an instruction operation that instructs execution of prescribed processing, a hold operating portion to detect a hold setting operation that sets a state of not accepting the instruction operation to the instruction operating portion, a state control portion to set the state of not accepting the instruction operation to the instruction operating portion if the hold setting operation is detected by the hold operating portion, and a video processing portion to perform processing for displaying a video. If the video processing portion performs processing for displaying the video when the hold setting operation is detected, the state control portion controls the video processing portion to suspend at least a part of processing for displaying the video.
Electronic device and control method thereof
An electronic device including a projection module and a control method thereof are disclosed. The electronic device includes: a display module; a camera configured to capture a user gesture; the projection module configured to project a virtual control object on a plane within a predetermined distance from the electronic device; and a controller configured to display on the display module a screen associated with operations running on the electronic device, and upon receiving a predetermined user gesture through the camera, project a virtual control object on the plane through the projection module to control at least one of the operations running on the electronic device at the time when the user gesture is received. Accordingly, a virtual control object for controlling an operation running on the electronic device can be projected on a plane.
PROJECTION DEVICE AND PROJECTION SYSTEM
A projection device to magnify and project, on a screen, an image displayed at an image display element, includes: a dioptric system including at least one positive lens and at least one negative lens; and a reflection optical system having at least one reflection optical element.
Lighting device, display device and television device
A backlight device (a lighting device) 12 includes LEDs (a light source) 17, a light guide plate 16, a chassis 14, LED boards 18, and heat dissipation members 19. The light guide plate 16 includes an end surface that is opposite the LEDs 17 and configured as a light entrance surface 16b through which light from the LEDs 17 enters. One of the plate surfaces of the light guide plate 16 is configured as a light exit surface 16a through which the light exits. The chassis 14 supports another plate surface 16c of the light guide plate 16 opposite from the light exit surface 16a. Each LED board 18 includes a bottom plate 18b that extends parallel to at least the other plate surface 16c of the light guide plate 16. Each heat dissipation member 19 extends parallel to a plate surface 18b1 of the bottom plate 18b and is in surface contact with the plate surface 18b1 of the bottom plate 18b.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
There is provided an information processing apparatus including an emission unit for emitting a projection image onto a subject, which is to be photographed, so as to allow the subject to perform a predetermined operation, a recognizing unit for recognizing operation performed by the subject, and an execution unit for executing a predetermined processing according to the operation of the subject that is recognized by the recognizing unit.
