Laser-based fiber-coupled white light system

A laser-based fiber-coupled white light system is provided. The system includes a laser device comprising a gallium and nitrogen containing emitting region having an output facet configured to output a laser emission with a first wavelength ranging from 385 nm to 495 nm. The system further includes a phosphor member to receive the laser emission in a range of angles of incidence to a spot on a primary surface with a size greater than 5 m. The phosphor member converts the laser emission with the first wavelength to a phosphor emission with a second wavelength in either reflective or transmissive mode and mixed at least partially with laser emission to produce a white light emission. Additionally, the system includes a fiber coupled to the phosphor member to capture the white light emission to deliver the white light emission to a remote lighthead or distribute the white light emission directly.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

An electronic device includes an illumination module, an image projection module, a camera module and at least one processor. The processor, coupled to the illumination module, the image projection module and the camera module, determines that the electronic device executes a first or second operating mode according to an operation instruction of a user. When the first operating mode is executed, the processor enables the illumination module to generate a medium color temperature light, simultaneously enables the image projection module to project a window screen onto a plane, and allows the use to operate the window screen on the plane. When the second operating mode is executed, the processor enables the illumination module to generate a high color temperature light, simultaneously enables the image projection module to project a preset pattern onto the plane, and turns on the camera module to allow the user to take photo or image.

ROBOTIC CONSTRUCTION GUIDANCE

A system for robotic construction guidance includes a sensor module including one or more sensors. A projection module is rotatably connected to the sensor module and includes one or more projection elements configure to project an image onto a surrounding structure. A base module is rotatably connected to the projection module or the sensor module, and includes a support structure, wheels, and/or a suspension means.

PROJECTION APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

A projection apparatus and a control method thereof are provided. The projection apparatus includes a processor, a sensor, and a projection module. When a command corresponding to a standby mode is received, the processor sets the projection apparatus to a first sub-standby mode. The sensor is enabled to sense whether there is a living object located in a sensing area outside the projection apparatus. The standby mode is maintained as the first sub-standby mode in response to sensing that the living object is not in the sensing area. The standby mode is set to be switched to a second sub-standby mode in response to sensing that the living object is in the sensing area. A maximum power consumption of the first sub-standby mode is less than a maximum power consumption of the second sub-standby mode. In the first and second sub-standby modes, the projection module is not enabled.

A system for enabling two different users to independently view and listen to two completely different programs on the same display at the same time is provided. A user wears eyeglasses with filters to filter out light from the program which the user does not want to view, while allowing the light from the program the user does want to view to be seen by the user. Successive frames of a first program are displayed using light polarized in one direction in an alternating manner with frames of a second program using light polarized in another direction. A first user wears glasses with lenses configured to filter out the light from the second program while a second user wears glasses to filter out the light from the first program. Thus, while wearing the glasses, the first user can see the first program while watching the display, but not the second program. Simultaneously, while wearing the other glasses, the second user will see the second program, but not the first program.

Provided by the present technology is an illumination apparatus including a light source section, a phase modulation section, and a control section. The light source section has a light emitting element. The phase modulation section performs spatial light phase modulation on incident light from the light source section. The control section controls the phase modulation section in such a manner that a plurality of domains formed by dividing a phase modulation plane of the phase modulation section reproduces a light intensity distribution based on a common phase distribution determined on the basis of a Freeform method in a common region on a projection plane.
