CMOS IMAGE SENSOR (CIS) INCLUDING MRAM (MAGNETIC RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY)
A complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensor (CIS) with a simplified stacked structure and improved operation characteristics includes an upper chip, in which a plurality of pixels are arranged in a two-dimensional array structure, and a lower chip below the upper chip including a logic region having logic circuits and a memory region having embedded therein magnetic random access memory (MRAM) used as image buffer memory for storing image data processed by the logic region.
REUSABLE ENVELOPE
A reusable envelope has one or more spaces thereon where address, return labels and/or postage can be removably placed or permanently affixed such as for finite number of shipments using a permanently affixed postage area, for example. The reusable envelope also includes a resealable closure allowing the interior of the envelope to be closed and reopened multiple times for multiple uses (shipments, receiving) or optionally to use a finite number of times by exposing the permanent adhesive to the flat and mating surface depending on user preference.

Rear view mirror mountable audiovisual recording apparatus
A rear view mirror mountable audiovisual recording apparatus including a base unit and a mounting unit. A motion sensor, a light emitting diode, and a camera are disposed on the base unit. A speaker is disposed on a left surface of the mounting unit. An activation control, a charging port, and a secure digital memory card slot are disposed on a right surface of the mounting unit. A central processing unit is disposed within the mounting unit. A plurality of a pair of hooked clamps disposed on the mounting unit is selectively engageable around each of an upper surface and a lower surface of a rear view mirror.
Image pickup apparatus that automatically generates time-lapse moving image, moving image generation method, and storage medium
An image pickup apparatus that enables automatic generation of a time-lapse moving image for each photographing condition of an automatic bracket photographing function set in combination with a time-lapse photographing function. The image pickup apparatus acquires a plurality of photographed images by repeatedly performing photographing according to a plurality of photographing conditions set in advance, at time interval set in advance, and generates a plurality of time-lapse moving images by composing the plurality of acquired photographed images for each of the plurality of photographing conditions.
METHOD, PROCESSING DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING COPIES OF MEDIA SAMPLES IN A SYSTEM COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF INTERCONNECTED NETWORK CAMERAS
The present invention relates to a method for managing copies of media samples recorded by a given network camera of a system comprising a plurality of interconnected network cameras, the method comprising the following steps: obtaining a topology of the system as a set of relationships existing between the network cameras of the plurality, based on media samples recorded by these network cameras; selecting a subset of network cameras from the plurality, based on the determined topology and a predetermined level of redundancy to achieve, for the storage of the copies of the media samples recorded by the given network camera, in storage units of network cameras of the subset.

Apparatus, systems and methods for accessing missed media content
Systems and methods are operable to retrieve at least a portion of a missed media content event. An exemplary embodiment detects an occurrence of a failed recording of at least a portion of a media content event of interest; transmits a notification of the detected occurrence of the failed recording of the at least the portion of the media content event of interest from a media device to a replacement content device; and receives, at the media device, at least a portion of missed media content corresponding to at least the portion of the media content event of interest that failed to record.
Method, apparatus and machine-readable medium for describing video processing
An upstream video processor may perform video processing upon video data to created processed video data. The video processing may include at least one of color correction, contrast correction, gamma correction, sharpness enhancement, and edge enhancement. Metadata indicative of the performed video processing may also be generated. The processed video data and metadata may be passed to a downstream video processor, the latter for use in determining what further video processing, if any, to apply. An intermediate video processor may receive video data and metadata indicating video processing performed thereupon by an upstream video processor. Based on the received metadata, additional video processing may be performed, and new metadata indicating the additional video processing may be generated. Composite metadata may be generated from the received and new metadata and may be passed along with the processed video data to a downstream video processor for use in determining what further video processing, if any, to apply.
Method and apparatus for representing storage capacity allocation of an audio/video recording device
A method and apparatus for representing allocation of capacity of a storage unit within an audio/video (AV) recording device is described. In one example, a quantity of AV program data stored on the storage unit is determined. A storage schedule for new AV program data that is defined over a predetermined time period is obtained. A deletion schedule for old AV program data that is defined over the predetermined time period is obtained. Temporally dynamic indicia is produced that is representative of allocation of the capacity of the storage unit over the predetermined time period in response to the quantity of stored AV program data, the storage schedule, and the deletion schedule. A pictorial representation of the temporally dynamic indicia may then be displayed on a display coupled to the AV recording device.
