Ergonomic Exercise Equipment Handle
The goal of this invention is to provide an ergonomic handle for cable-based exercise equipment which is comfortable in the user's hands and increases user strength and range of motion. This exercise handle allows wrist flexion and extension as well as forearm and hand pronation and supination. The handle is composed of a grip which is rotatably coupled to a bracket, which is in turn connected to a rotatable connection assembly which freely rotates along an axis parallel to the cable.
Exercise machine and cross trainer
The present invention is directed, in part, to a system and methods for combining newly designed cardiovascular equipment with the added features of an upper body weight training regimen in order to provide a user a full body workout, cardiovascular exercise and weight training simultaneously. The invention does so by employing either a weight tray apparatus configured to newly designed cardiovascular equipment or machine or through the use of an adjustable weight training apparatus combined with the newly designed cardiovascular equipment or machine. More specifically, the present invention relates to a system and methods for combining newly designed cardiovascular equipment including stationary and recumbent bikes, elliptical machines, treadmills and stair steppers, with a tray apparatus that allows a user to employ free weights. The invention further relates to a system and methods for combining newly designed cardiovascular equipment including stationary and recumbent bikes, elliptical machines, treadmills and stair steppers that are configured with an adjustable weight training apparatus that allows a user to build upper body muscle groups simultaneously with cardiovascular exercise, in effect, providing a full body workout.
Yoga band and method of using said yoga band to perform a yoga pose
A yoga band is configured with a retainer band loop for donning around a hand, wrist or foot and both an inner pose strap and an outer pose strap that may be elastic to enable stretching and holding of poses. The inner pose strap and an outer pose enable different levels or extensions for performing yoga poses, or a progressive stretching from the outer pose strap to the inner pose strap, for example. A yogi may extend the outer pose strap initially, as it may extend further than the inner pose strap, and therefore may be easier to reach and hold the yoga pose. As the yogi progresses, they may extend the inner pose strap which is shorter in length, thereby achieving a greater stretch. The inner and outer pose straps are coupled with a retainer strap component of the retainer band loop to provide a secure support.
Exercise Machine Support System
An exercise machine support system for providing increased versatility including inclination or declination of an exercise surface, a reduction in the overall length and width of the exercise machine, and an enhanced user interface which reduces the risk of injury. The exercise machine support system generally includes a cantilevered exercise machine which is adapted to have a variable angle of incline or decline with respect to a horizontal ground surface. The exercise machine will generally include a base and a support which extends between the base and the exercise machine. The upper end of the support is connected to the exercise machine by a first pivot such that the exercise machine pivots about the support. An adjustment device may be utilized to pivot the exercise machine and thus adjust its angle of incline. Various types of adjustment devices are disclosed, including an actuator, ratchet-and-pawl, gears, and cam.
ANNULAR EXERCISE APPARATUS
An aspect of the invention provides an annular exercise apparatus comprising an annular body having axially spaced annular faces and inner and outer side walls, the body section having a core and a flexible cover layer and defining an aperture inward of the inner side wall and extending axially through the end faces, wherein the aperture defines an annular lip having a diameter greater than a diameter of the aperture and less than a diameter of the inner side wall.
Collaborative exercise
A report of a state of a local exercise device based at least in part on a user response to an electromagnetic resistance unit in the local exercise device is sent. An update based on a state of a remote exercise device is received. The electromagnetic resistance unit is caused to change state in reaction to the received update.
Hyperthermic conditioning capsule
A self-contained, hyperthermic conditioning unit and selectively controllable environment for exercising. The unit comprises a base portion having a bed therein and a removable cover connected to the base portion to enclose a personal compartment within the unit. One or more heating elements provide heat to the personal compartment and one more pieces of physical exercise equipment are provided within the personal compartment.
Interactive exercise machine support and mounting system
An interactive exercise system includes a mechanical support system and a display module held by the mechanical support system. At least one force-controlled component is engageable by a user and connected to the mechanical support system, with the force-controlled component configure to reduce force when applied user force is great enough to cause tip-over or unwanted movement of the mechanical support system. The force-controlled component can be graspable by a user and allows for a range of exercise types and programs.
Suspendible exercise strap
An elongated exercise strap formed from a single polymeric strap folded over itself and sewn together at predetermined intervals to form a plurality of loops, each loop affixable to a carabiner such that the carabiner is oriented orthogonally to the strap to prevent the carabiner from abrading the skin surface of a user.
Geodesic dome exercising system
The present invention relates an exercising system. The exercising system is a geodesic dome structure coupled with an exercise device such as a flywheel. The geodesic dome is made up of multiple struts coupled to each other at multiple hubs. The exercise device is engaged with the hub to allow a user to exercise through the flywheel.
