SECURITY SYSTEM AND METHOD OF DETECTING CONTRABAND ITEMS
A security screening apparatus for use in detecting ferromagnetic objects comprises a detector apparatus which comprises a housing that supports at least one magnetic sensor arranged to produce a signal indicative of an ambient magnetic field or gradient over a zone of sensitivity which extends away from the housing, the size of the zone being large enough to contain the whole body of the person, and a signal processing circuit which receives as an input the signal from the magnetic sensor and which, in response to a change in the signal produces an alert signal. A beacon that comprises a light source is able to emit at least two visually distinct colours of light, and a control means controls the light source such that in a first condition in the absence of the alert signal the beacon emits a first colour light and in a second condition corresponding to the presence of the alert signal the beacon emits a second, different, colour of light. The light source is arranged such that the position and/or size and/or shape of the illuminated area of the light source in the first condition is different from the position and/or size and or shape of the illuminated area of the light source in the second condition.
MOVING OBJECT DETECTION DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, MOVING OBJECT DETECTION METHOD, AND INTEGRATED CIRCUIT
A moving object detection device includes: an image capturing unit with which a vehicle is equipped, and which is configured to obtain a captured image by capturing a view in a travel direction of the vehicle; a calculation unit configured to calculate, for each of first regions which are unit regions of the captured image, a first motion vector indicating movement of an image in the first region; an estimation unit configured to estimate, for each of one or more second regions which are unit regions each including first regions, a second motion vector using first motion vectors, the second motion vector indicating movement of a stationary object which has occurred in the captured image due to the vehicle traveling; and a detection unit configured to detect a moving object present in the travel direction, based on a difference between a first motion vector and a second motion vector.
Mobile video security device configured for streaming video via wireless broadband and process for implementing the same
A mobile video surveillance device includes a camera device configured to capture video images; a transceiver configured to transmit and stream the video images over a network to a video receiving computer for at least one of the following: viewing on a display, viewing on a wireless device, or storage in a database; a video capturing input device configured to receive an input to initiate operation of the camera device and initiate video streaming by the transceiver; a processor configured to control the camera device and the transceiver based on the video capturing input device; a housing configured to house the camera device, the transceiver, the video capturing input device, and the processor; and a movement detection unit configured to detect a movement.
Systems and methods of object detection in wireless power charging systems
Systems and methods for wireless power transmission based on object identification are provided. A radio frequency wireless power transmitter is in communication with a video camera for capturing image data (e.g., a visual pattern) of at least a portion of a transmission field of the radio frequency wireless power transmitter. A processor of the radio frequency wireless power transmitter is configured to identify an object when the visual pattern matches a pre-stored visual pattern representing the object, and control transmission of one or more radio frequency power transmission waves to a receiving electronic device based on a location of the identified object, wherein the receiving electronic device uses the one or more radio frequency power transmission waves to power or to charge the receiving electronic device.
Location based service tools for video illustration, selection, and synchronization
Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided mapping. In some example embodiments, there may be provided a method including generating, by a user equipment, a user interface view including a map and a polyline representative of a route along the map; and generating, by the user equipment, the polyline to include at least one graphically distinct indicator along the route, wherein the at least one graphically distinct indicator, when selected at the user interface, initiates presentation of a video recorded at a location on the route where the at least one graphically distinct indicator is located. Related apparatus, systems, methods, and articles are also described.
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR SUPERVISING OPERATOR
A management system for supervising an operator within an operation area with a processing apparatus installed therein has an imaging camera for capturing an image of the operator, and a control unit. The control unit stores an area map that includes information about the processing apparatus and the positions of the processing apparatus, acquires identifying information regarding the operator on the basis of the image captured by the imaging camera, and extracts traffic lines of the operator. A management unit records the traffic lines of the operator and the identifying information of the operator, in relation to each other on the area map.
CCTV MONITORING SYSTEM FOR REGISTERING CAMERA AND MANAGING PERMISSION AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides a CCTV monitoring system for registering a camera and managing permission, and a control method of the system. In other words, according to the present invention, a manager having an installer terminal granted with temporal authority over the camera, can install the relevant camera, check whether the camera operates, and then, entrust/set authority over the camera to a terminal of an end-user through cooperation among the installer terminal, the terminal of the end-user, and a service server. Accordingly, convenience for a user can be improved and it is possible to more efficiently manage an installed camera.
Surface inspection apparatus, non-transitory computer readable medium storing program, and surface inspection method
The disclosure provides a surface inspection apparatus for inspecting a surface of an object, a non-transitory computer readable medium thereof, and a surface inspection method thereof. According to an aspect of the disclosure, the surface inspection apparatus includes an imaging device configured to image a surface of an object to be inspected, and a processor configured to calculate a numerical value representing a quality of the surface by processing an image captured by the imaging device, and display, on a display device, the image including an index for specifying a position of a portion that has contributed to the calculation of the numerical value and the numerical value.
CAMERA WITH CURLED LID AND SPRING ELEMENT FOR PCB POSITIONING
A camera for a vehicle vision system includes a housing having a front housing portion with a lens barrel and lens assembly, and a rear housing portion with a connector. The front and rear housing portions are mated together to establish an inner cavity in the housing. An imager circuit board is disposed in the inner cavity of the housing, with an imager disposed at the imager circuit board and optically aligned with the lens assembly. When the front and rear housing portions are mated together, perimeter flanges of the front and rear housing portions may be curled to have multiple folds to seal the front housing portion relative to the rear housing portion. The imager circuit board may be held in the inner cavity by a spring element that urges the imager circuit board in a direction toward the lens assembly.
