Adaptive gateline motor control

A method for operating an adaptive gateline may include detecting a patron approaching a gateline. The method may include determining whether the gateline should be operated in a standard mode or in a modified mode based at least in part on data from one or more sensors. The method may include operating the gateline in the standard mode or in the modified mode based on the determination. In the modified mode a barrier of the gateline operates to provide one or both of extra time or additional space for the patron to pass through the gateline relative to the standard mode.

Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for providing continuous session authentication and monitoring. An example method includes authenticating, at a first time, a session for a user of the client device based on an authentication image data structure and a plurality of first video frames captured before the first time. The example method further includes extracting sample data from a monitor region for each of a plurality of second video frames captured after the first time and generating motion data based on the extracted sample data. The example method further includes detecting, at a second time, a re-authentication trigger event based on the motion data. Subsequently, the example method includes re-authenticating the session based on the authentication image data structure and a plurality of third video frames captured after the second time.

First responder monitoring system with distress detection

In one embodiment, a device obtains sensor data from one or more sensors worn by a first responder. The device analyzes the sensor data to identify a position of a person with whom the first responder is interacting. The device determines that a policy violation has occurred based in part on the position of the person. The device provides an alert that indicates the policy violation.

REMOTE PARKING SYSTEM AND PARKING ASSISTANCE CONTROL APPARATUS USED THEREIN
20230012530 · 2023-01-19 ·

A remote parking system performs remote parking in which a vehicle is moved from a current position and parked by remote parking. In the remote parking system, a remote controller can be carried outside the vehicle, issues an instruction for remote parking by being operated by an operator, and includes a display screen that displays a state of remote parking. An imaging apparatus captures a peripheral image of the vehicle. A control unit inputs imaging data from the imaging apparatus, and includes an image generating unit that generates an image to be displayed on the display screen based on the imaging data. The image generating unit generates, as a remote parking image, an image in a direction along a line of sight in which a vehicle direction is viewed from the operator. The image includes a blind spot position positioned on a side opposite the operator relative to the vehicle.

INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM

An information processing method includes a detection step including detecting a target based on a distance image of a monitoring region; and a stay decision step including making a stay decision. The stay decision includes determining whether any stay of the target has occurred. The stay decision step includes making the decision based on an index indicating a positional change of the target with the passage of time.

Triggering System

Provided is a triggering system for triggering a plurality of vehicle-mounted cameras for obtaining a set of images. The present invention further relates to a camera system including the same. The triggering system includes a central unit and a plurality of camera controllers that each control one or more cameras. The present invention proposes a combination of a de-centralized updating process to determine the respective triggering time instants for the cameras, and a local timer in each of the camera controllers that is repeatedly synchronized using GNSS time information. This allows better control of the position of the entrance pupils of the cameras at the time of recording images. This will in turn produce a set of images that enables the generation of a panoramic image having less parallax-related errors.

Recording system and recording method

A recording system includes a recording data acquisition unit, an analysis unit, a learning unit, and a determination unit. The recording data acquisition unit acquires recording data in which a surrounding situation of a vehicle is recorded. The analysis unit performs image analysis processing on video data included in the recording data to create information regarding a transition of a color component in the video data. The learning unit learns the transition of the color component using artificial intelligence to create a trained model used to determine an occurrence of an event. The determination unit determines whether an event occurs using the trained model on a basis of the recording data. When the determination unit determines the occurrence of the event, the event recording control unit causes a recording unit to record, as event recording data, the recording data including a time point upon the occurrence of the event.

TRAILER BACKUP CAMERA SYSTEM

A backup camera system includes a housing configured to be mounted to a back of a trailer at a location of a center marker light of the trailer and having a rear surface offset from and facing away from the trailer, a camera at the housing and configured to capture a rear view of the trailer, a first light at a center of the rear surface of the housing, a second light at the rear surface of the housing and offset from the first light, and a controller within the housing and configured to selectively couple the first light or the second light to a wiring of the center marker light of the trailer.

EBS/TOF/RGB CAMERA FOR SMART SURVEILLANCE AND INTRUDER DETECTION

A sensor system with a plurality of sensors or sensor functions is provided. The sensors can include an event detection sensor, a time of flight sensor, and imaging sensor. The different sensors can be implemented on the same or different substrates. Accordingly, sensors with pixels having different or shared functions can be included in the sensor system. In operation, an event detection signal from an event detection sensor causes the operation of a time of flight sensor to be initiated. In response to the detection of an object within a critical range by the time of flight sensor, the imaging sensor is activated. The image sensing and event detection pixels can be provided as part of different arrays of pixels, or can be included within a common array of pixels.
