A vehicle abnormality monitoring method includes starting, by a vehicle, a monitoring device to record a first video when detecting an abnormal event; determining a roadside device in an area where the vehicle is located; and sending, to the roadside device, a monitoring request requesting the roadside device to record a second video of the abnormal event, where the first video and the second video are configured to trace the abnormal event.

Disclosed are methods, systems, and apparatus for monitoring delivered packages using video. A method includes obtaining a notification of a delivery of a package at a property that includes a first image depicting the package; obtaining a second image captured by a camera at the property; determining, using the first image and the second image, that the package has been delivered to the property; generating a package model that represents an appearance of the package; and tracking a location of the package for use in determining whether to provide an alert to a device about the location of the package. Determining that the package has been delivered to the property comprises: comparing the first image to a model of a scene of the property; determining that the first image satisfies similarity criteria for matching the model of the scene; and determining that the second image likely depicts the package.
Image processing apparatus and image processing method to generate and display an image based on a vehicle movement
An image processing apparatus is provided. An image photographed by a camera that photographs the surroundings of the vehicle is received. An overhead image, a vehicle travel direction image, and a vehicle lateral side image corresponding to a vehicle movement direction which is either left or right of the vehicle is generated based on the image. The generated image is displayed on a display unit. For example, a display image is generated or updated in accordance with a travel direction of the vehicle and direction-of-rotation information of a steering wheel. In a case where the vehicle is backed counter-clockwise, the overhead image, the vehicle rear image, and a vehicle left side image are generated and displayed. In a case where the vehicle is backed clockwise, the overhead image, the vehicle rear image, and a vehicle right side image are generated and displayed.
Lock system including automation notification and surveillance integration
The present disclosure provides a lock system including automated notification and surveillance integration. In the lock system of the present disclosure, when any of the locks included in the lock system are locked or unlocked, a notification or communication signal is sent to at least one other device. The at least one other device may be a receiver, smart phone, smart watch, laptop, desktop, and/or an Internet connected or Internet of Things (IoT) device. In one aspect, the at least one other device is an image capturing device that captures one or more images of the lock that has been locked or unlocked and the surrounding area the lock is disposed in responsive to the notification or communication signal sent. The lock system of the present disclosure is configured for use with electronic locks, mechanical locks, and/or hybrid electronic-mechanical locks.

When captured videos transmitted from n units of cameras are received, a server analyzes position information and characteristic information on a person appearing in each of captured videos as analysis results. A client terminal displays, on a screen, each of a k number of captured videos that are selected by a user operation. According to a selection of a search target person, the client terminal transmits, to the server, a search request for the search target person in a (k−1) number of captured videos other than the captured video in which the search target person appears. The server extracts the search target person and transmits the analysis result to the client terminal. The client terminal displays cut-out images of one or more persons identical with or similar to the search target person based on the analysis result.

The image sensor here is an event-based image sensor and the control and evaluation unit is configured to detect a measurement series of points in time at which pixel elements adjacent in the direction of movement consecutively register an event to determine a speed of an object image of the object on the image sensor from said measurement series and from this the height.
