Rotation resistant exercise device
An exercise or fitness device designed to strengthen the entire body, with particular focus on the upper body. The device facilitates the strengthening of the core, chest, back, shoulder, and arm muscles, and in particular those muscles that move the core in the transverse plane. The device consists of two hemispherical shells, both of which have handles attached via risers. This arrangement allows the device to be gripped either by the spherical surfaces, by the handles, or a combination thereof. The two hemispheres are attached to each other by means of a shaft with a variable braking mechanism. The braking mechanism can provide levels of rotational resistance from almost zero to virtually impossible to rotate, with the resistance level being visibly indicated on the exterior of the device. The resistance level is changed by repeatedly rotating the two halves against each other in one direction or another. Key areas of the exterior of the device are treated with non-slip areas to facilitate the user gripping the device during exercise.
SWING EXERCISE MACHINE
The present invention discloses a swing exercise machine including a support frame, a pair of footrests disposed at both sides of support frame and at least one suspension arm disposed between footrests and support frame, each footrest is rotatably connected to at least one suspension arm, and a pivot assembly is provided between the support frame and each suspension arm. The present invention is equipped with a support frame, a pair of footrests, and at least one suspension arm disposed between each footrest and support frame, each footrest is rotatably connected to at least one suspension arm, the connected X and Y pivot assemblies are disposed between suspension arms and support frame to allow footrests to swing back-and-forth, left-and-right. The present invention has simple structure and small volume, can realize effect of large-scale forward, backward, left and right movement of footrests through suspension arms, thus can effectively realize fitness effects.
CORE TRAINER
A core training apparatus for the golf swing. A semicircular member is coupled with a support member, and a resistance member is connected to one of the coupling points. The resistance member is secured to a fixed point, and the user rotates the apparatus back and forth with the user standing at the center rotational axis of the semicircular member, with the resistance member being guided along the semicircular member. The back-and-forth rotation acts to increase and decrease tension on the resistance member thereby exercising the core of the user.
Salmon ladder training device
This disclosure addresses an exercise device adapted to enable the user to perform a salmon ladder exercise. The ladder includes a frame with at least one pair of support protrusions that receive an exercise bar. A bearing surface that receives the shaft of a catch array rotatably mounted in the frame. The device further includes a braking mechanism that applies a variable suppression force to the catch array shaft, the variable suppression adjusting the force required to rotate the catch array shaft in the bearing surface.
A GAME APPARATUS
This disclosure relates to a game apparatus including a housing, a motion measurement arrangement and a flexible tether. The motion measurement arrangement is at least partially located within the housing and includes a multi-axis pivot member movable relative to the housing in at least two axes. The motion measurement arrangement also includes a sensor arrangement for measuring multi-axis movement of the pivot member. The flexible tether has a free end coupled to a strikable object and a proximal end coupled to the pivot member. The motion measurement arrangement is configured to measure an indication of one or more parameters of the strikable object's motion upon striking of the strikable object by a user.
EXERCISE DEVICE AND PRELOADED RESISTANCE PACK
A preloaded resistance pack and exercise device. The resistance pack includes an elastomeric resistance element coupled to a hub and disposed on a plate. The hub includes a pair of radially extending wings that lie against a surface of the plate. The plate includes a pair of raised tabs that lie within a rotational path of the wings. An initial rotation of the hub relative to the plate causes the wings to slide over and beyond the raised tabs and at least partially stretches the resistance element. Interaction between the tabs and wings prevents the hub from rotating back to an initial position and maintains the resistance element in a preloaded, tensioned condition. The exercise device is configured to detect a number of the resistance packs coupled thereto as well as data associated with exercise movements employing the resistance packs.
Method and apparatus for bi-directional ankle exercise movements
Apparatus for bi-directional ankle exercise movements has a main-frame with a seat and upwardly extending columns at either side to support a “U” shaped sub-frame, mounted so that it pivots about a horizontal axis passing very nearly through the ankles of a seated user and interconnecting linkages simultaneously enforcing ankle inversion, with plantarflexion and then ankle eversion, with dorsiflexion, about perpendicularly intersecting axes, while resisting such movements, so as to provide bidirectional ankle exercises according to a progressive resistance program, thus strengthening the ankle muscle groups for enhanced balance and dynamic stability.
Full body workout device
The present invention relates generally to the field of exercise equipment. More specifically, the present invention relates to an improved full body workout device that is designed to allow a user to exercise every muscle in the body. The device comprises at least two pairs of weighted sliders for the hands and feet of a user, wherein each slider comprises a track ball that allows each slider to slide along a surface such as the ground. Each slider is further comprises plurality of controls to allow the user to lock the track ball in place to make each slider immobile, and may also comprise a control that allows a user to select the intensity of the exercise being performed with the device.
Dynamic exercise device
A dynamic exercise device having a hand grip mounted in an inner ring, the inner ring mounted in an outer ring, and the outer ring mounted in a base. Each of the above elements is movable in at least one degree of freedom relative to each of the other elements. Optionally, the base has feet. The feet may be fixed elements that provide immobility, or dynamic elements, such as roller bearings, that may provide adjustable movement.
Exercise Apparatuses
Exercise apparatuses are described herein. An example embodiment of an exercise apparatus includes a first shaft, a first frame, a first handle, a second frame, a second handle, a second shaft, and a third shaft. The first frame is attached to the first shaft. The first handle is rotatably attached to the first frame such that the first handle can rotate relative to the first frame. The second frame is attached to the first shaft. The second handle is rotatably attached to the second frame such that the second handle can rotate relative to the second frame. The second shaft is attached to the first frame and the third shaft is attached to the second frame.
