DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT MOVEMENTS BY SHIFTING THE CENTER OF GRAVITY AND/OR ACTUATING MUSCLES OF A HUMAN BODY
A device is used for carrying out movements by shifting the center of gravity and/or actuating muscles of a human body. A user lies on the device and shifts the center of gravity by moving his or her hip region in order to incline a movable part of the device including the user's own body in different directions. Furthermore, the user wears video goggles or the like during the process and can move in a virtual environment using the overall system, which includes the video goggles and the movement device and can interact with these. The movements caused by the user can be generated solely using gravity by shifting the center of gravity. Additionally, the movements of the device are influenced by motors or dampers arranged in or on the device.
Exercise apparatus
Muscle resistance apparatus comprising a framework, at least one resistive force and a movable section. The movable section is linked to a resistive force, wherein a first part of the movable section is attached to the framework by a connection whereby it can be temporarily displaced, and a second part of the movable section is connected to the first part of the movable section by a second connection whereby it can be temporarily displaced. The first and second parts of the movable section are independently movable with respect to one another in an angular and/or linear fashion.
Rebound and balance training device
A rebound and balance training device includes a frame, a footboard, and a plurality of resilient spring elements extending between and attached to the frame and the footboard to support the footboard above a supporting surface. A user standing on the footboard manually effects repeated vertical bouncing movement between upper and lower positions. The distance traveled by the footboard, the effort required to effect movement, and the stability thereof may be modified by selectively modifying the number, the length, the position, or the elasticity of the resilient elements. In one embodiment, a pair of footboards is employed to simulate skiing movements.
Full Body Workout Device
The present invention relates generally to the field of exercise equipment. More specifically, the present invention relates to an improved full body workout device that is designed to allow a user to exercise every muscle in the body. The device is comprised of at least two pairs of weighted sliders for the hands and feet of a user, wherein each slider is comprised of a track ball that allows each slider to slide along a surface such as the ground. Each slider is further comprised of a plurality of controls to allow a user to lock the track ball in place to make each slider immobile, and may also be comprised of a control that allows a user to select the intensity of the exercise being performed with the device.
Hand held exercise device
The exercising device preferably has a handle with a proximal end and a distal end and a swing arm having a first end and a second end. The proximal end of the handle is rotatably connected to the first end of the swing arm, allowing the swing arm to rotate around the proximal end of the handle in a “clock-hand” fashion. A connecting shaft and swing arm stopper prevent the swing arm and handle from becoming separated during use. The exercising device may further have a weight member positioned in a weight member recess located close to the second end of the swing arm. The weight member increases the difficulty of using the exercise device and is removably attached to the swing arm. A safety sleeve can fit over the weight member recess to prevent the weight member from dislodging during use.
MUSCULAR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
The present invention relates to muscular exercise equipment. In particular, disclosed is a muscular exercise apparatus comprising: an upper support bar, which has a certain length and on both sides of which connecting rods are disposed; a lower support bar, which has a certain length and on both sides of which connecting rods are disposed, wherein the connecting rods of the upper support bar and the connecting rods of the lower support bar are fastened to each other such that the upper support bar and the lower support bar have a certain angle therebetween; and a central support bar for supporting the bending motion of at least one of the upper support bar and the lower support bar.
RESISTIVE THERAPEUTIC WRIST DYNAMOMETER AND EXERCISER DEVICE
A resistive therapeutic device is disclosed such that upon a user applying torque a controller emits a signal to an electromagnetic resistance generating member. The controller detects a maximum torque applied by a user detects if the maximum torque applied by a user is less than or equal to a resistance setting. The torque resistance is variable from a neutral position to a maximum position, and the controller increases the resistance setting as a user moves a torque application member in a direction away from the neutral position that represents an increase in torque applied by the user. A control and user interface for a resistive therapeutic device includes an evaluation display of torque strength applied and displays an angle of rotation clockwise or counterclockwise directions ranging from 0 degrees to 360 degrees and a count of repetitive times a user has rotated at least 360 degrees in either direction.
APPARATUS FOR PHYSICAL EXERCISES
An apparatus for performing abdominal exercises, the apparatus comprising a frame (10) for providing a stable base for operation of the apparatus, a seat (14) for a user to rest onto, a resistance adjustment means (20) for adjusting level of resistance for operation of the apparatus and a joint mechanism (22) for bearing loads and providing rotational movement, wherein the resistance adjustment means (20) is operable to resist movement of the joint mechanism (22) located at centre point of the frame (10), characterized in that an arm (16) connected to the joint mechanism (22) located at centre point of the frame (10) is rotatable at centre point of the frame (10) by means of the joint mechanism (22) and the seat (14) is linearly connected to the arm (16) and is linearly traversable about the arm (16) and the seat (14) is further rotatably connected to the arm (16).
Sporting device
A sporting device providing a rotating footplate and optional foot extension for a user to employ to practice a swing motion using a bat or club commonly used in sports.
