Cycle-type exercise equipment conversion apparatus and methods of converting thereof
An apparatus for converting a cycle-type exercise machine into another type of exercise machine includes a stationary frame structure that attaches to a frame of the cycle-type exercise machine, a pair of swing arms pivotally coupled with the stationary frame structure, and a pair of coupler bars pivotally coupled with the pair of swing arms on one end and rotationally attached to a crank bar of the cycle-type exercise machine on an opposite end.
Device with reciprocating upper extremity support assemblies
An upper body support assembly for use with an associated railed device having first and second rails is disclosed. The assembly includes first and second upper body supports capable of moving along the first and second rails, respectively. The upper body supports have at least one of: (i) first and second forearm supports, (ii) first and second hand grips, or (iii) a first forearm support and a first hand grip. An interconnecting member extends between and selectively connects both the first and second upper body supports to permit (i) interrelated movement therebetween when connected, and (ii) independent movement therebetween when disconnected. The assembly can achieve two point gait, three point gait, and four point gait movement.
PRESSURE CHAMBER AND LIFT FOR DIFFERENTIAL AIR PRESSURE SYSTEM WITH MEDICAL DATA COLLECTION CAPABILITIES
A differential air pressure system has a pressure bag with windows and preferred folding configuration such that when the bag is folded no window is folded. The pressure bag is supported by a lift support that is proximal to a user control panel and adjacent to or nearly adjacent to the user who is coupled to the pressure bag. A treadmill base for use with differential air pressure equipment is provided. There are various improvements provided to adapt the operations of the DAP system via the use of separate pressure volume and non-pressure volume portions of the treadmill base. Various improvements to serviceability and repairs are provided by placement of components outside of the pressure volume portion or by providing one or more pressure volume access points.
Elliptical exercise device for simultaneous training of shoulder girdle, pelvic girdle and trunk muscles in a human
The invention relates to the field of sports and medicine, specifically to training devices, more particularly to an elliptical exercise device suitable for simultaneous training of shoulder and pelvic girdle muscles in a human. Accordingly, it is desirable to provide an exercise device for training trunk muscles, the shoulder girdle and the pelvic girdle in a human and, at the same time, to enable simulation of various motion patterns by activating different groups of muscles, joints, the locomotor system in a human in general and especially muscles which hold the vertebral spine. It is further desirable to enable optional correction of their load during the process of coordination of motor activity (locomotion) of the human body through simultaneous elliptical motions of hands and feet, which, in addition to the load on the shoulder girdle and the pelvic girdle muscles, simultaneously provide preferably stretching load on muscle groups which hold the vertebral spine.
Multi-axis adjustable exercise machine
A multi-axis adjustable exercise machine which is pivotable about both a pitch axis and a roll axis with respect to a base for allowing an exerciser to perform a wide range of exercises on a pitched or rolled exercise machine. The multi-axis adjustable exercise machine generally includes an exercise machine which is adjustable with respect to a base. The exercise machine may be pivoted about a roll axis to adjust the roll angle of the exercise machine or may be pivoted about a pitch axis to adjust the pitch angle of the exercise machine. One or more actuators may be connected between the base and the exercise machine to effectuate the pivoting of the exercise machine about either or both axes with respect to the base.
Exercise devices
An exercise device includes spaced-apart exercise members engageable by appendages of an exerciser and moveable in opposed directions, a body support member for supporting an exerciser and a platform below the body support member. A synchronizing drive system connects the exercise members with the body support member for moving the body support member in opposite directions relative to the platform by movement of the exercise members in opposite directions, respectively.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REHABILITATION AND EXERCISE WITH MULTI-CONFIGURABLE ACCESSORIES
A system, method and apparatus for exercise and rehabilitation includes a frame coupled to a base and having a top end. An arm having a proximal end can be coupled to the top end of the frame. A distal end of the arm is opposite the proximal end. The arm is movable in a first degree of freedom between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the frame. Handles are coupled to the arm adjacent the distal end and movable in a second degree of freedom relative to the arm. The handles are manipulated by a user for exercise and rehabilitation.
Folding biokinetic ski fitness machine for workout of the spine in horizontal position and for strengthening whole musculoskeletal system
The folding biokinetic ski fitness machines is one of the range of the biokinetic spine exercisers designed to workout the spine in free horizontal position with support on four limbs for strengthening the spine and whole musculoskeletal system consists of the device for performing swinging movements for the hands and of the device for performing sliding-walking movements for the legs.
Mentioned devices connected with the kinematic transmission, which allows the foot supports and handles to move in opposite directions.
So, the user moves on the biokinetic ski fitness machine with the spine in free horizontal position standing on four limbs like the skier and performing the sliding-walking movements by legs and swinging movements by hands.
Such kind of the spine position and the limbs motions provides a number of benefits for the recreation of the spine and whole musculoskeletal system.
UPPER AND LOWER LIMB WALKING REHABILITATION DEVICE
An upper and lower limbs walking rehabilitation device of the present invention includes a foot stepping part, and comprises: a lower frame part; a lower limb link unit provided between the foot stepping part and the lower frame part and providing a walking trajectory to the foot stepping part; an upper frame part detachably provided at the upper end of the lower frame part by means of a detachment part; an upper limb link unit provided at the upper frame part and implementing the movement of upper limbs; and an upper linking part for linking the upper limb link unit and the lower limb link unit.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REHABILITATION AND EXERCISE
A rehabilitation and exercise system can include a base. A static device can be coupled to the base and configured to provide isometric exercise for a user by receiving static force from the user to facilitate at least one of osteogenesis or muscle hypertrophy for the user. In addition, a dynamic device can be coupled to the base and configured to provide a dynamic exercise for the user by being moved by the user to facilitate at least one of osteogenesis and muscle hypertrophy for the user.
