The method includes: acquiring an initial portrait image to be adjusted; determining multiple skin color category probabilities that the initial portrait image respectively belongs to multiple predetermined skin color categories; calculating a mapped pixel value of each pixel in the initial portrait image according to the multiple skin color category probabilities and multiple skin color mapping tables respectively corresponding to the multiple skin color categories; and determining a skin color beautified image based on the mapped pixel value of each pixel. With the method, the skin color adjustment can be flexibly and accurately adapted to various skin color conditions.

Additionally, the device can determine a second RGB color value for each first pixel based on the determined RGB adjustment value. The device can also generate a second image including a plurality of second pixels, where each of the second pixels includes a determined second RGB color value. Moreover, the device can separate at least one of a red color value, green color value, or blue color value of the RGB color value and adjust at least one of a red color value or a blue color value based on the lens correction value.

For example, methods may include accessing an image from an image sensor; detecting an object area on the image; classifying the object area on the image; applying a filter to an object area of the image to obtain a low-frequency component image and a high-frequency component image; determining a first enhanced image based on a weighted sum of the low-frequency component image and the high-frequency component image, where the high-frequency component image is weighted more than the low-frequency component image; determining a second enhanced image based on the first enhanced image and a tone mapping; and storing, displaying, or transmitting an output image based on the second enhanced image.

The present application provides a white balance processing method and apparatus. The method comprises: recognizing a portrait region in an image; calculating a target white balance gain value according to the area occupied by the portrait region in the image; and performing white balance processing on the image according to the target white balance gain value. The present application resolves the problems of poor user experience due to inaccurate image color restoration caused by a small area proportion of a human face region in an image during white balance adjustment according to the white balance gain value determined according to the area occupied by the human face in the case of a long photography distance.
