IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND IMAGE PICKUP ELEMENT
An imaging unit 20 has a configuration in which an identical polarization pixel block made up of a plurality of pixels with an identical polarization direction is provided for each of a plurality of polarization directions and pixels of respective predetermined colors are provided in the identical polarization pixel block. A correction processing unit 31 performs correction processing such as white balance correction on a polarized image generated by the imaging unit 20. A polarized image processing unit 32 separates or extracts a reflection component using the polarized image after the correction processing. By using a polarized image of the separated or extracted reflection component, for example, it is possible to generate normal line information with high accuracy.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus is configured to: acquire a correction factor from a recording unit for recording, for each of a plurality of pixels, the correction factor for correcting a difference in pixel value corresponding to a difference between a spectral sensitivity and a preset reference spectral sensitivity in a predetermined wavelength range at a pixel of interest, based on image data generated by an image sensor, the image sensor having the plurality of pixels on which color filters of a plurality of colors with different spectral transmittances are respectively located, the color filters forming a predetermined array pattern; calculate a correction amount for correcting a pixel value of the pixel of interest based on the correction factor at the pixel of interest and pixel values of pixels surrounding the pixel of interest; and correct the pixel value of the pixel of interest by using the correction amount.
Systems and methods for obtaining color imagery using single photon avalanche diodes
A system for obtaining color imagery using SPADs includes a SPAD array that has a plurality of SPAD pixels. Each of the plurality of SPAD pixels includes a respective color filter positioned thereover. The system is configurable to capture an image frame using the SPAD array and generate a filtered image by performing a temporal filtering operation using the image frame and at least one preceding image frame. The at least one preceding image frame is captured by the SPAD array at a timepoint that temporally precedes a timepoint associated with the image frame. The system is also configurable to, after performing the temporal filtering operation, generate a color image by demosaicing the filtered image.
MULTI-SENSOR IMAGING COLOR CORRECTION
Systems and techniques are provided for processing images. For example, a process can include obtaining a first color image including first one or more pixels from a first image sensor and obtaining a second color image including second one or more pixels from a second sensor, the second color image including infrared (IR) information from a second image sensor. The process can include determining a transformation between colors associated with the first one or more pixels and colors associated with the second one or more pixels based on a comparison associated with the first one or more pixels and the second one or more pixels. The process can include generating a color corrected image at least in part by transforming the second color image including IR information to a color corrected image based on the determined transformation.
EFFICIENT ELECTRO-OPTICAL TRANSFER FUNCTION (EOTF) CURVE FOR STANDARD DYNAMIC RANGE (SDR) CONTENT
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for transmitting Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) content. The systems and methods may use a modified Electro-Optical Transfer Function (EOTF) curve to convert nonlinear color values of SDR content into optical output values of modified SDR content. The systems and methods may encode the modified SDR content using eight bits while preventing banding. The systems and methods may transmit the encoded data to a client device for presentation on a display.
COLOR CORRECTION METHOD AND IMAGE CORRECTION APPARATUS
A color correction method is applied to an image correction apparatus having an image sensor, and includes searching a color deviation area within a detection image, analyzing the detection image to estimate a correction color value of the color deviation area, and calibrating the color deviation area by the correction color value to generate a calibrated detection image without color deviation.
GLOBAL TONE MAPPING OF IMAGES BASED ON LUMINANCE AND CHROMINANCE
Example methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture (e.g., physical storage media) to implement global tone mapping of images based on luminance and chrominance are disclosed. Examples disclosed herein determine a chromatic gain to apply to input chrominance components corresponding to an input color of a pixel of the input image, the chromatic gain based on an input luminance component corresponding to the input color of the pixel and a luminance gain to be applied to the input luminance component of the pixel to determine an output luminance component of the pixel. Disclosed examples also apply the chromatic gain to the input chrominance components of the pixel to determine output chrominance components of the pixel. Disclosed examples further combine the output luminance component and the output chrominance components to determine an output color of the pixel.
Modification profile generation for vision defects related to double vision or dynamic aberrations
In certain embodiments, double-vision-related vision defects determinations or modifications may be facilitated. In some embodiments, a stimulus may be to be presented at a first time at a position on a first display for a deviating eye of a user (e.g., without a stimulus being presented on a second display of for a reference eye of the user) to cause the deviating eye to fixate on the position on the first display. A deviation measurement for the deviating eye may be determined based on an amount of movement of the deviating eye occurring upon the presentation on the first display for the deviating eye at the first time. In some embodiments, a modification profile associated with the user may be determined based on the deviation measurement, where the modification profile includes one or more modification parameters to be applied to modify an image for the user.
IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application discloses an image processing method and apparatus, and relates to the field of image processing technologies, to help optimize a color, a contrast, or a dynamic range of an image, so that an optimized image can be more objective, and robustness is improved. The method is applied to a terminal including a first camera and a second camera. The method includes: when an ISO of the first camera in a current photographing environment is greater than a first threshold, capturing a first image for a first scenario in the current photographing environment; capturing a second image for the first scenario; and optimizing the first image based on the second image to obtain a third image. An image style of the second image is better than that of the first image.
Detection of false color in an image
Devices, methods, and systems for detecting false color in an image. An edge preserving filter is applied to an image sensor output to generate a first demosaiced image. A low pass filter is applied to the image sensor output to generate a second demosaiced image. A hue difference between the first demosaiced image and the second demosaiced image is calculated. A false color region is detected responsive to the hue difference exceeding a threshold hue difference.
