IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
20230096626 · 2023-03-30 ·

An image processing device (1) includes an exposure control unit (102), a Δ pose estimating unit (109), and an integration unit (111). The exposure control unit (102) controls exposure by sequentially performing positive correction of increasing exposure from proper exposure or negative correction of decreasing exposure from the proper exposure as the exposure at a time of acquiring each of a plurality of image frames in time series in a predetermined execution order. The Δ pose estimating unit (109) estimates first position pose of the image processing device based on matching between image frames subjected to the positive correction and second position pose of the image processing device based on matching between image frames subjected to the negative correction. The integration unit (111) integrates the first position pose and the second position pose.

CONFIGURABLE PLATFORM

An image sensor assembly includes at least one upconverter configured to detect light in a NIR waveband that is received from an object to be imaged and generate, based on the detected light, upconverted light that is outside of the NIR waveband; and at least one image sensor configured to detect the upconverted light.

TOUCHLESS PHOTO CAPTURE IN RESPONSE TO DETECTED HAND GESTURES
20230093612 · 2023-03-23 ·

Example systems, devices, media, and methods are described for capturing still images in response to hand gestures detected by an eyewear device that is capturing frames of video data with its camera system. A localization system determines the eyewear location relative to the physical environment. An image processing system detects a hand shape in the video data and determines whether the detected hand shape matches a border gesture or a shutter gesture. In response to a border gesture, the system establishes a border that defines the still image to be captured. In response to a shutter gesture, the system captures a still image from the frames of video data. The system determines a shutter gesture location relative to the physical environment. The captured still image is presented on the display at or near the shutter gesture location, such that the still image appears anchored relative to the physical environment. The captured still image is viewable by other devices that are using the image capture system.
