Methods for controlling scene, camera and viewing parameters for altering perception of 3D imagery
Mathematical relationships between the scene geometry, camera parameters, and viewing environment are used to control stereography to obtain various results influencing the viewer's perception of 3D imagery. The methods may include setting a horizontal shift, convergence distance, and camera interaxial parameter to achieve various effects. The methods may be implemented in a computer-implemented tool for interactively modifying scene parameters during a 2D-to-3D conversion process, which may then trigger the re-rendering of the 3D content on the fly.

System and method for generating combined embedded multi-view interactive digital media representations
Various embodiments describe systems and processes for capturing and generating multi-view interactive digital media representations (MIDMRs). In one aspect, a method for automatically generating a MIDMR comprises obtaining a first MIDMR and a second MIDMR. The first MIDMR includes a convex or concave motion capture using a recording device and is a general object MIDMR. The second MIDMR is a specific feature MIDMR. The first and second MIDMRs may be obtained using different capture motions. A third MIDMR is generated from the first and second MIDMRs, and is a combined embedded MIDMR. The combined embedded MIDMR may comprise the second MIDMR being embedded in the first MIDMR, forming an embedded second MIDMR. The third MIDMR may include a general view in which the first MIDMR is displayed for interactive viewing by a user on a user device. The embedded second MIDMR may not be viewable in the general view.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL DISPLAYS USING ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD COMPUTATIONS
Methods, apparatus, devices, and systems for three-dimensional (3D) displaying objects are provided. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining data including respective primitive data for primitives corresponding to an object, determining an electromagnetic (EM) field contribution to each element of a display for each of the primitives by calculating an EM field propagation from the primitive to the element, generating a sum of the EM field contributions from the primitives for each of the elements, transmitting to each of the elements a respective control signal for modulating at least one property of the element based on the sum of the EM field contributions, and transmitting a timing control signal to an illuminator to activate the illuminator to illuminate light on the display, such that the light is caused by the modulated elements of the display to form a volumetric light field corresponding to the object.

Intrusion detection system, intrusion detection method, and computer-readable medium
The conventional image surveillance technologies relevant to the present invention had the potential of failing in detect ion due to the intrusion duration time being set too long and thereby allowing an intruder to pass a warning line before the preset intrusion duration had elapsed. The intrusion detection device according to the present invention is provided with: a detect ion means that detects, in an image, an intrusion position in a specific region by an object that has intruded into the specific region; and a control means that associates the intrusion position with a prescribed time period, wherein the detection means outputs an alert when the object, in the image, has stayed in the specific region for the prescribed time period or longer.
