AUGMENTED REALITY DEVICE FOR PROVIDING 3D AUGMENTED REALITY AND OPERATING METHOD OF THE SAME
An augmented reality device for providing three-dimensional (3D) augmented reality and an operation method of the same are provided. The augmented reality device includes a multi-view picture generation unit configured to generate a multi-view picture including single-view images having respective individual characteristics, and generate an exit pupil including the generated multi-view picture, a waveguide configured to replicate the exit pupil generated by the multi-view picture generation unit, and an eyebox viewing zone generation unit configured to separate the single-view images based on the individual characteristics, and generate a three-dimensional (3D) image by outputting the single-view images in viewing zones in an eyebox corresponding to views of the single-view images.
NEAR-EYE DISPLAY MODULE RELEASING THE EYE'S FOCUS FROM FIXED PLANE
The invention discloses a near-eye display module which includes at least one projection module, a bracing structure, and a control unit, releasing the eye's focus from a fixed plane. A projection module consists of more than one projection units, and the bracing structure functions as a holder for these projection units. A projection unit includes a display panel, a converging device which converges the light beams incident onto or outgoing from the display panel, and a deflection aperture which deflects the light coming from the converging device. The viewer wears two such near-eye display modules as eye-glasses. In the near-eye display module corresponding to an eye, the projection units of a same projection module jointly project at least one whole image to this eye, for VAC-free (Convergence-Accommodation conflict-free) three dimensional (3D) display based on Maxwellian view or multiple-images-one-eye.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY METHOD BASED ON SPATIAL SUPERPOSITION OF SUB-PIXELS' EMITTED BEAMS
The invention discloses a three-dimensional display method based on spatial superposition of sub-pixels' emitted beams. Taking sub-pixels of a display device as the basic display units, sub-pixels that emitting beams of the same color are taken as a sub-pixel group or divided into several sub-pixel groups. Through a beam control device, the sub-pixel groups project more than one image of the target object to a same pupil of the viewer. Passing through a displayed spatial point, more than one beam from sub-pixels of different colors superimpose into a color spatial light spot, where the mosaic of sub-pixels of different colors is employed to present surface-distributed color pixel. The beam control device guides the beam from each sub-pixel to the viewing zone corresponding to a sub-pixel group that contains the sub-pixel, along a special direction and with a constrained divergence angle.
