The specification relates to a mobile exerciser. The mobile exerciser can include a mobile exerciser frame; a foot rest assembly attached to the mobile exerciser frame having a working position and a stored position; and a pedal assembly attached to the mobile exerciser frame having a working position and a stored position. The mobile exerciser can be converted from a push mode to a pedal mode by moving the foot rest assembly into a stored position and the pedal assembly into a working position and the mobile exerciser can be converted from a pedal mode to a push mode by moving the foot rest assembly into a working position and the pedal assembly into a stored position.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR POWER MEASUREMENT
A power measurement device, which may be mounted to an inside area of a crank arm, includes processing circuitry within a housing. The processing circuitry is coupled with strain gauges mounted on the crank arm, and produces a power value that is wireless transmitted to a separate display that may receive and display power measurements. The housing may include a mounted portion and a cantilever portion where the mounted portion houses the processing circuitry and the cantilever portion houses batteries supply energy for the processing circuitry and other features.
Haptic rehabilitation
Aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward apparatuses and methods for rendering haptic environments, such as may be used in rehabilitation. As may be implemented in accordance with one or more embodiments, haptic rehabilitative movement is effected by providing feedback signals characterizing sensed engagement of a user's lower extremity with a crank coupled to a shaft that is driven by a motor, and controlling movement of the crank in response to the feedback signals. Force may be provided by the motor and shaft, by applying control inputs to the motor that cause the motor and crank to render respective haptic environments while engaged with the user's lower extremity, via rotation of the shaft. The haptic environments may include one or both of impedance-based haptic environments and admittance-based haptic environments.
Adjustable rehabilitation and exercise device
An adjustable rehabilitation and exercise device, including a first rotary member rotatably mountable about a first hub and having a plurality of spaced apart and elongated first mount supports defined thereon; a first mount adjustably positioned on one of the first mount supports; a first patient engagement member attached to the first mount, a second rotary member rotatably mountable about a second hub the opposite the first rotary member, the second rotary member having a plurality of spaced apart and elongated second mount supports defined thereon; a second mount adjustably positioned on one of the second mount supports; and a second patient engagement member attached to the second mount. The first and second mounts are adjustably positionable on the first and second rotary members to enable adjustable positioning of the first and second patient engagement members radially relative to the first and second hubs of the rotary members and angularly relative to one another.
Exercise Apparatus with Oscillating Tilt System
An exercise apparatus with oscillating tilt system includes a main frame for supporting all the components of the apparatus, a tiltable upstanding support is tilted oscillating, a mechanism which enabling a user of the apparatus to move hands and feet up and down harmoniously, and another mechanism to change an orientation of the user in relation to the vertical line oscillating during the exercise, and consequently changing the direction of the forces affecting different muscles of the user of the apparatus.
Adjustable rehabilitation and exercise device
An adjustable rehabilitation and exercise device, including a rotary member rotatably mounted on a hub; a mount having a ring located adjacent to the rotary member with a lock selectively engageable with the rotary member to lock the ring at an angular position relative to the rotary member, and an arm connected to the ring and extending radially relative to the rotary member and having a movable carriage associated therewith to move radially relative to the rotary member and lockable to position the carriage at a radial position relative to the rotary member; and a patient engagement member connected to the mount and movable with the carriage.
Adjustable rehabilitation and exercise device
An adjustable rehabilitation and exercise device, including a rotary member rotatable on a hub and having a plurality of elongated and spaced apart elongated mount receivers defined thereon; a mount selectively and movably positionable on a selected one of the mount receivers of the rotary member to select an angular location of the mount, the mount including a sliding member movably positionable along the selected mount receiver to a selected radial location along the selected mount receiver to select a radial location of the mount relative to the hub; and a patient engagement member connectable to the mount and movable with the mount.
Adjustable rehabilitation and exercise device
An adjustable rehabilitation and exercise device, including a rotary member having a plurality of elongated and spaced apart elongated open-ended slots defined thereon; a mount selectively and movably positionable on a selected one of the slots of the rotary member to select an angular location of the mount. The mount includes a sliding member movably positionable along the selected slot to a selected radial location along the selected slot to select a radial location of the mount relative to the hub of the rotary member. The mount has a slide member configured to slidingly engage the slot and a movable plunger located on the slide member, wherein the plunger is movable to engage the slot so as to lock the position of the mount along the slot; and a patient engagement member connectable to the mount and movable with the mount.
Adjustable rehabilitation and exercise device
An adjustable rehabilitation and exercise device, including a rotary member rotatable about a hub and having an elongated slot defined thereon extending radially relative to the hub, the slot including a plurality of spaced apart and opposed fingers along the length of the slots, with a plurality of gaps defined between the fingers of each side of the slot; and a mount selectively and movably positionable on a selected location on the slot of the rotary member to select an angular location of the mount. The mount includes a sliding member movably positionable along the slot to a selected radial location along the selected slot to select a radial location of the mount relative to the hub of the rotary member. The sliding member is configured to slidingly engage the slot, the slide member having at least one spring loaded lock configured to engage one of the gaps to lock the position of the sliding member, and a key operable by a user to disengage the lock from the gap to enable the sliding member to be moved to another location along the slot. A patient engagement member is connectable to the mount and movable with the mount.
Human powered strengthening machine
A standing exercise device includes a base, a foot pedal assembly mounted to the base, a first member pivotally coupled to the foot pedal assembly, a second member extending upwardly from the first member, a hand pedal assembly mounted to the second member, a third member coupled to the foot pedal assembly and the hand pedal assembly, and an interlocking hinge pivotally connecting the first and second members. The interlocking hinge is movable relative to the foot pedal assembly to vertically adjust a position of the hand pedal assembly. The first, second, and third members together form an adjustable frame defining a space configured to receive and support a user in a standing position with the user's hands and feet respectively engaging and manually driving a pair of hand pedals and a pair of foot pedals in synchronous circular motion.
