Dynamic user interface and module facilitating content sharing in a distributed computing environment
A sharing client device shares content with viewing client devices. A sharing module operating on a sharing client device and on the viewing client devices facilitates the creation and analysis of viewer snapshots, permitting automatic determination of whether viewers are up-to-date with their display of shared content. Based on the analysis and on a policy of the sharing module, the sharing module can take a number of actions, such as generating and displaying a viewer summary that a user of the sharing client device may view to determine whether, or to what extent, the viewing client devices are up-to-date in their displays of the shared content.
Multi-viewpoint multi-user audio user experience
An apparatus including circuitry configured for receiving a spatial media content file including a plurality of viewpoints; circuitry configured for determining a first viewpoint from the plurality of viewpoints for a first user consuming the spatial media content file; circuitry configured for receiving an indication that affects an audio rendering of the first viewpoint for the first user, wherein the indication is associated with one or more actions of at least one second user consuming the spatial media content file; and circuitry configured for controlling the audio rendering of the first viewpoint for the first user in response to the receiving of the indication based on at least one of: a position and/or orientation of the first user, and the one or more actions of the second user.
Wireless audio synchronization using a spread code
Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for synchronizing playback of audiovisual content among multiple speakers. In some embodiments, a first smart speaker receives a spread spectrum signal from a second smart speaker over an audio data channel. The first smart speaker despreads the spread spectrum signal based on a spreading code. The first smart speaker determines a time of receipt of the spread spectrum signal based on the despreading. The first smart speaker receives a time of transmission of the spread spectrum signal. The first smart speaker then calculates a playback delay based on the time of receipt and the time of transmission. Then the first smart speaker controls the playback of the audiovisual content based on the playback delay.
Audio transitions when streaming audiovisual media titles
A playback application is configured to analyze audio frames associated with transitions between segments within a media title to identify one or more portions of extraneous audio. The playback application is configured to analyze the one or more portions of extraneous audio and then determine which of the one or more corresponding audio frames should be dropped. In doing so, the playback application can analyze a topology associated with the media title to determine whether any specific portions of extraneous audio are to be played outside of a logical ordering of audio samples set forth in the topology. These specific portions of extraneous audio are preferentially removed.
Virtual platform for recording and displaying responses and reactions to audiovisual contents
A method and a system for receiving a user's selection of a content, retrieving data about the content, tracking content consumption, launching a reactive module based on input from the user, registering a timestamped response of the user, the response comprising a graphic symbol is provided. The method may be further comprise receiving content-retrieving information from a second user, searching contents to identify a candidate for the second user's consumption, receiving a selection of a content from the candidate, tracking a position of the content that is selected and being consumed by the second user, launching the reactive module on a second client device based on input from the second user. The virtual platform provides an electronic venue of dynamic communications for content consumers, where users experience pseudo-realtime interactions by seeing the virtual platform's reconstruction of other users' responses that shows reacting users' emotional status.
Method and apparatus for an interactive user interface
A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to facilitate user interaction with, such as modification of, respective audio objects. An example method may include causing a multimedia file to be presented that includes at least two images. The images are configured to provide animation associated with respective audio objects and representative of a direction of the respective audio objects. The method may also include receiving user input in relation to an animation associated with an audio object or the direction of the audio object represented by an animation. The method may further include causing replay of the audio object for which the user input was received to be modified.
System and method for real-time synchronization of media content via multiple devices and speaker systems
A method and system for real-time customizing and synchronizing media by a client device in communication with a server device. A client device customizes stock media content based on user preferences, and synchronizes the customized content for playback with a server-side playback of the stock media content.
Low latency wireless virtual reality systems and methods
Virtual Reality (VR) processing devices and methods are provided for transmitting user feedback information comprising at least one of user position information and user orientation information, receiving encoded audio-video (A/V) data, which is generated based on the transmitted user feedback information, separating the A/V data into video data and audio data corresponding to a portion of a next frame of a sequence of frames of the video data to be displayed, decoding the portion of a next frame of the video data and the corresponding audio data, providing the audio data for aural presentation and controlling the portion of the next frame of the video data to be displayed in synchronization with the corresponding audio data.
Methods, systems, and media for modifying user interface colors in connection with the presentation of a video
Methods, systems, and media for modifying user interface colors are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving a video and color palette information, wherein each color of the color palette information indicates a color of an element of a user interface in which the video is to be presented; identifying a first color for the element, wherein the first color corresponds to a first portion of the video; causing the first portion of the video to be presented, wherein the element of the user interface having the first color is presented; identifying a second color for the element, wherein the second color corresponds to a second portion of the video; and modifying an appearance of the element by changing the color of the element from the first color to the second color while presenting the second portion of the video.
Systems and methods for video splicing and displaying
The present disclosure relates to a system and method for synchronous video display on at least one display. The method may comprises receiving a channel of video signal from each data acquisition port of a plurality of data acquisition ports during a time interval, each channel of video signal comprising a plurality of video frames captured during the time interval. The method may also comprises assigning a count value for each video frame of the channel of video signal as synchronization information for each video frame of the channel of video signal to form a pool of video frames each corresponding to a count value. The method may further comprises selecting video frames with the same count value from the pool of video frames as synchronized video frames, and transmitting, through the plurality of output ports, the synchronized video frames for synchronous display on the at least one display.
