Receiving method, receiving device, and transmission and reception system
A receiving method of receiving a first data unit in which data making up an encoded stream is stored and the first data unit stores a plurality of second data units. The receiving method includes: receiving the first data unit, first time information indicating a presentation time of the first data unit, second time information indicating, together with the first time information, a presentation time or a decoding time of each of the plurality of second data units, and identification information; calculating the presentation time or the decoding time of each of the plurality of second data units using the first time information and the second time information; and correcting the presentation time or the decoding time of each of the plurality of second data units based on the identification information.
Methods and apparatus to identify media based on watermarks across different audio streams and/or different watermarking techniques
Methods and apparatus to identify media based on watermarks across different audio streams and/or different watermarking techniques are disclosed. Example apparatus disclosed herein include a watermark detector to detect a first watermark embedded in a first audio stream, the first watermark including a first source identifier and a first timing identifier, and detect a second watermark embedded in a second audio stream, the second watermark including a second source identifier and a second timing identifier. The disclosed example apparatus also include a controller to associate the first and second watermarks with a media detection event when both (1) the first and second source identifiers match and (2) the first and second timing identifiers are chronologically congruent. The disclosed example apparatus further include a transmitter to transmit the media detection event to a data collection facility.

Method and system for transferring an interactive feature to another device
Methods and systems are presented for transferring an interactive feature from a first device to a second device. Two users may be consuming a media asset. Upon receipt of a command to active an interactive feature, a determination is made whether a user who did not activate the interactive feature is interested in the media asset. Upon that determination, a timer is activated that tracks an amount of time for which the interactive feature is active and a determination is made whether a threshold time period has been met. Once the threshold time period is met, a device associated with the user that activated the interactive feature is identified and the users are prompted to transfer the interactive feature to the device.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING DIGITAL VIDEO CONTENT FROM NON-VIDEO CONTENT
Embodiments of the present invention provide for generating digital video content from non-video content. The systems and methods provide for, upon receiving an input from an end user to generate the digital video content, retrieving the non-video content; extracting metadata from the non-video content; combining the non-video content, the extracted metadata, and user preferences into a digital content instruction package; and generating the digital video content based on the digital content instructions package, wherein the creating of the digital video content includes (i) modifying the digital video content based on the user preferences and (ii) displaying the modified digital video content to the end user.

Content-modification system with use of multiple fingerprint data types feature
In one aspect, a method includes receiving first query fingerprint data representing first content channeled through a portion of a content-distribution system. The method also includes detecting a first match between the received first query fingerprint data and first reference fingerprint data representing a modifiable content-segment. The method also includes responsive to detecting the first match, performing a first action. The method also includes receiving second query fingerprint data representing content received by a content-presentation device. The method also includes detecting a second match between the received second query fingerprint data and second reference fingerprint data representing second content transmitted by the content-distribution system, where the second content is a modified version of the first content. The method also includes responsive to detecting the second match, performing a second action that is different from the first action.

Method for pushing video information, apparatus, device and storage medium
Embodiments of the present disclosure provides a method for pushing video information, an apparatus, a device and a storage medium. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the user behavior information in the user page at the current moment is acquired, and the related information of the target video that is pushed to the user terminal at the next moment is determined according to the user behavior information, so that the user terminal refreshes the user page according to the related information of the target video, thus the target video that is pushed by the server to the user terminal is more in line with the user's preference, therefore the user quickly finds the video that he/she likes in the user interface, thereby improving the user experience.
