Method for Determining a Temperature without Contact, and Infrared Measuring System
A method and an infrared measuring system for determining a temperature distribution of a surface without contact includes an infrared detector array with a detector array substrate and respective pluralities of measuring pixels and reference pixels. The measuring pixels are each connected to the detector array substrate with a first thermal conductivity, are sensitive to infrared radiation, and each provide a measurement signal for determining a temperature measurement value that depends on the intensity of the incident infrared radiation. The reference pixels are each connected to the detector array substrate with a second thermal conductivity and each provide a measurement signal for determining a temperature measurement value. The reference pixels are implemented as blind pixels that are substantially insensitive to infrared radiation. The temperature measurement values of the measuring pixels are corrected by a pixel-associated temperature drift component determined with reference to the temperature measurement values of the reference pixels.
PROCESS FOR THE CONTACTLESS DETERMINATION OF THE SKIN TEMPERATURE AND DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT THE PROCESS
A process and a device are provided for a contactless determination of a measuring location (32) on a body, which point is intended for the measurement of a skin temperature of a human being (10). A signature (36) indicating a measuring location (32) on the body is detected by means of a sensor system (16). A skin temperature measurement is carried out on the measuring location (32) on the body. A signature (36) detectable in the infrared range and a sensor system (16) sensitive in the infrared range are used. Both the detection of the infrared range signature (36) and the measurement of the skin temperature at the measuring location (32) on the body are carried out by means of the sensor system (16) sensitive in the infrared range.
Enhanced visual representation of infrared data values
Various techniques are provided to generate enhanced visual representations of captured infrared (IR) data values. For example, various methods, systems, devices, and machine-readable mediums are provided that may be used to map color and/or grayscale values to temperature values. Such mapping permits a user to intuitively interpret the temperatures associated with the IR data values. The temperatures may be presented as a visual representation of the captured IR data values having an enhanced contrast.
Identification of seat occupancy by means of a camera
A method and an apparatus for identifying occupancy of a seat use a camera. In order to achieve permanently reliable identification of the occupancy of a seat, the camera is oriented such that it captures at least one area of interest of the seat. An evaluation apparatus is used to identify the area of interest in a picture taken by the camera and to store a position for the area of interest. The evaluation apparatus selects the area of interest in pictures subsequently taken by the camera at the stored position and compares the area of interest with at least one stored picture sample. A result of this comparison is taken as a basis for identifying the seat as being occupied. In addition, an apparatus having a camera and an evaluation apparatus is described for performing the method.
POLYGON MONITORING CAMERA WITH MULTI-FUNCTIONAL MOUNTING STRUCTURE
A polygon monitoring camera with multi-functional mounting structure has a housing, a first assembling surface and a second assembling surface. A camera module is provided within the inside of the housing. The first assembling surface formed on either side of the housing is configured to fix an mounting module thereon; while the second assembling surface formed on the other surface of the housing is configured to install additionally a fixing unit configured to fix another mounting module or a second polygon monitoring camera that is identical in appearance and contains a depth camera module. In this manner, manufacturers can customize the mounting modules required for different user according to their actual needs, and solve the problem that the conventional multi-functional cameras cannot meet the requirements of customized design due to different specifications of the camera, and present disclosure can achieve increased functions of a single camera in flexible manner.
Light blocking assembly for an analyte detector
Disclosed is an analyte detector with a light blocking assembly. The light blocking assembly includes a light blocking cartridge positioned within the bore of a sampling tip. The light blocking assembly provides fluid communication between the environment and a sensor assembly in an analyte detector while substantially precluding the passage of light.
Secure portable patrol system
A secure portable patrol system including a portable patrol device and a base unit is revealed. The patrol device is a portable rectangular body disposed with a multi-image display screen on a front surface thereof. The patrol device is disposed with an IR image capture unit, a wireless call unit and a first SIM card communication unit so that users can perform multiple tasks by the single patrol device such as checking whether there is area that overheats or abnormal conditions that occur. The base unit includes a specific transmitter while the patrol device is set with a specific port for electrical connection to the specific transmitter. Thereby the patrol device and the base unit are electrically connected for secure data transmission.
AUTOMATED EMERGENCY RESPONSE
A method and system for automatically detecting a location is provided. The method includes receiving by a vehicle, data describing a specified geographical area of a collapsed structure. A received control signal enables control of the vehicle such that the vehicle initiates motion and navigates in a specified direction towards the specified geographical area and upon arriving at the specified geographical area, a size and a magnitude of the collapsed structure is determined via sensors of the vehicle. A center location of the collapsed structure is determined and the vehicle hovers above the center location. Geographical coordinates of the location above the center location are transmitted to a search and rescue system and the center location is scanned via ground penetrating radar. Open spaces within the collapsed structure are determined and scanned to locate living entities within the open spaces.
SPHERICAL DETECTOR ARRAYS IMPLEMENTED USING PASSIVE DETECTOR STRUCTURES FOR THERMAL IMAGING APPLICATIONS
Spherical detector array devices are provided, which are implemented using passive detector structures for thermal imaging applications. Passive detector structures are configured with unpowered, passive front-end detector structures with direct-to-digital measurement data output for detecting incident photonic radiation in the thermal IR portion of the electromagnetic spectrum.
MONITORING TISSUE TREATMENT USING THERMOGRAPHY
A method of monitoring a malignant tissue response to cancer treatment, including: acquiring, throughout a treatment course, one or more thermal images of the treated malignant tissue; processing the one or more thermal images to detect changes in the malignant tissue following the treatment; and analyzing the processed images to determine an effect of the treatment on the malignant tissue based on said detected changes.
