ELLIPTICAL MACHINE WITH FUNCTION OF FREELY CONTROLLING THE LATERAL MOVEMENT OF THE PEDAL
An elliptical machine includes: a transmission mechanism disposed a the base, one end of the lateral swing track disposed on both sides is pivoted at the base, and each lateral swing track can swing laterally; a connecting rod and a stepping mechanism are disposed on both sides of the transmission mechanism, and the front end of the front connecting rod in each mechanism is pivotally connected to the base; a front end is connected to the rear connecting rod of the front connecting rod in a universal joint type, the rear connecting rod is disposed on the corresponding track; the rear connecting rod free end part is pivoted to the pedal. When the pedal is stepped on, the front connecting rod is reciprocally extended with the transmission mechanism, and the user can freely manipulate the swing angle of the lateral swing track through the lateral force applied to the pedal.
REHABILITATION DEVICE PROVIDING LOCOMOTION TRAINING AND METHOD OF USE
In various embodiments, provided herein are systems, methods, processes, and devices for providing locomotive rehabilitation to a subject via one or more gait motions that substantially accurately mimic motions performed in healthy, natural gait cycles. The system may mimic natural gait motions via footplates and handles, and one or more linkage systems. In particular embodiments, the system may further include a motor unit and/or clutch for providing controlled forces assisting or resisting motions of a linkage system. Further, the system may include a tower for operating in a standing or seated position. In at least one embodiment, the system includes a body weight support system that provides offloading forces to a subject.
Stationary exercise apparatus
A stationary exercise apparatus includes a frame; two moving members respectively coupled to the frame, one end portion of each moving member located to define a swing axis; two swing members, one end portion of each swing member pivotally joined to the swing axis of the moving members; two supporting members respectively connected to the swing members, wherein one end portion of each supporting member is movably coupled to the frame, the other end portion of each supporting member is joined to the respective swing member so that one end portion of each supporting member moves along a reciprocating path; and two pedal sets respectively coupled to the supporting members, the pedal sets moving along a first path while the one end portions of the supporting members are reciprocating along the reciprocating path and the other end portions of the supporting members are rotating about a rotating axis.
Multi-function exercise device
A multi-function exercise device includes a supporting frame, a pair of linkage members, a first wheel unit, and a second wheel unit. Each of two first coupler bars couples a front link of the respective linkage member to the first wheel unit to permit rotation of the first wheel unit in response to upward movement of the front link of one of the linkage members. Each of two second coupler bars couples a rear link of the respective linkage member to the second wheel unit to permit rotation of the second wheel unit in response to swinging movement of the rear link. Two load-resistance members are provided for retarding rotations of the first and second wheel units, respectively.
Exercise apparatus
An exercise device having a frame, first and second foot supports suspended on the frame by first and second linkage assemblies, one or the other or both of the frame linkage assemblies being interconnected to an adjustment device that is selectively adjustable by a user to select one of a plurality of discrete segments of a master or overall path of arcuate travel and to a lateral adjustment device that enables the user to selectively adjust a path of travel of the foot supports a selected angle relative to a central axis of the exercise device.
Stationary exercise machine with a power measurement apparatus
A power measurement apparatus for an exercise machine may include an optical sensing component and a pair of code wheels supported by the frame of the exercise machine. The pair of code wheels may include a first code wheel having a plurality of first windows and a second code wheel having a plurality of second windows that individually at least partially overlap respective ones of the first windows to define respective effective window, the width of which may vary responsive to the application of power via at least one moment-producing assembly. The optical sensing component is operatively associated with the pair of code wheels to detect variations in the width of the effective window and thus measure the power applied via the moment-producing assembly.
Lateral elliptical trainer
A lateral elliptical trainer includes foot support platforms and an adjustment system configured to adjust the amount of lateral movement of the foot support platforms. The adjustment system includes a cable operative to adjust the amount of lateral movement of the foot support platforms. The cable is coupled to an actuator that is controllable by a user to enable the user to set the amount of lateral movement of the foot support platforms.
STATIONARY EXERCISE APPARATUS
A stationary exercise apparatus includes two connecting members each having an upper end guided to move along a circular path and a lower end coupled to a swing member, so that when the upper end moves along the circular path, the lower end moves along an arc-shaped path. Two supporting members are configured to support a user's feet, which are coupled between the upper end and the lower end of the respective connecting members and movable along a closed path. Two control members each is arranged between the corresponding supporting member and the corresponding swing member for guiding the second portion of the corresponding supporting member along a predetermined path, so that an angle formed between each supporting member and its corresponding connecting member varies as the corresponding swing member moves along the are-shaped path between a first endpoint and a second endpoint.
