Electrical traces in suspension assemblies
A camera may include at least one suspension assembly as part of optical image stabilization and/or autofocus systems of the camera. The suspension assembly may include an inner frame, an outer frame, and one or more flexure arms. Electrical traces may be deposited at both sides of the suspension assembly. A connection may be created, for electrical traces at the different sides of the suspension assembly, through the suspension assembly by removing (e.g., using an etching process) one or more parts in the body of the suspension assembly to create one or more cavities. A remaining part of the suspension assembly surrounded (and thus isolated) by the cavities may thus form at least a part of the connection for the electrical traces. The connection may further include one or more filled trenches connecting the electrical traces to the remaining part of the suspension assembly.
Substrate unit and substrate assembly, and camera module using same
The present invention relates to a substrate unit and a substrate assembly, and a camera module using the same. The present invention may comprise: a first substrate part having rigidity; a second substrate part stacked on one surface of the first substrate part and having flexibility; a third substrate part extending outwardly from the second substrate part and having flexibility; and a reinforcing part which is disposed at a portion where the edge portions of the first substrate part and the third substrate part meet, the reinforcing part having a recessed portion which is formed by recessing the first substrate part inwardly so as to inhibit interference between the first substrate part and the third substrate part. The present invention is capable of resolving the interference between a rigid PCB and a flexible PCB and the tearing thereof by providing a reinforcing part in a connection portion of the rigid PCB and the flexible PCB.
Pop-up apparatus for camera mirror system disposed inside panel of vehicle
A pop-up apparatus for a camera mirror system disposed inside a panel of a body of a vehicle includes a camera mirror assembly to provide a rear view of a vehicle, a camera mirror housing disposed to enclose the camera mirror system and configured to move to an outside of the panel, and a camera mirror frame configured to receive a driving force from a driving unit. The driving unit opens a cover of the panel while driving the camera mirror assembly to move to the outside of the panel through an opened portion of the panel in linkage with the camera mirror frame.
Vehicular camera with adhesive disposed between non-axially opposed surfaces of the lens barrel and PCB structure
A vehicular camera for a vehicular vision system includes a PCB having an imager disposed thereat, a lens barrel accommodating a lens, and a lens barrel support structure that protrudes from the PCB and at least partially circumscribes the imager. The lens barrel has an outer surface that extends between the ends of the lens barrel. The outer surface of the lens barrel is adhesively bonded to an inner surface of the lens barrel support structure via adhesive. The outer surface of the lens barrel radially opposes the inner surface of the lens barrel support structure where the adhesive is disposed. With the adhesive in its uncured state and contacting the opposed surfaces, the imager is optically aligned with the lens accommodated at the lens barrel. With the imager optically aligned with the lens, the adhesive is cured to adhesively attach the lens barrel at the lens barrel support structure.
Focus module
A focus module for an optoelectronic sensor is provided that has a focus adjustable optics, a focus adjustment unit for varying a focal position of the optics, and a focus control to move the optics into a focal position corresponding to a distance value by means of the focus adjustment unit. The focus module here furthermore has a distance sensor for determining the distance value and the focus adjustment unit, the focus control, and the distance sensor are parts of the focus module.
Trauma scene monitoring system
A trauma scene monitoring system includes a medic-worn illumination device, a casualty-worn informatics system, and a remote monitoring station. The illumination device includes a frame with boom-mounted light sources positioned below the wearer's eyes near the zygomatic bones, thus orienting the light sources to project light in the direction of the wearer's view. Also included are audio/video means to capture audio/video information from a scene attended by the medic, and a telemetry unit to transmit that information to the remote monitoring station. The casualty-worn informatics system is integrated within a headband worn by a monitored individual. The informatics system includes sensors to provide the monitored individual's vital statistics and a telemetry unit to transmit data concerning the monitored individual to the remote monitoring station. At the remote monitoring station, receiving and presentation stations provide views of the data concerning the monitored individual and audio/video data from the medic-worn illumination device.
Transportable recording apparatus for recording data for a localized panoramic image of a street
The invention relates to a transportable recording apparatus for recording data for a localized panoramic image of a street for detachable mounting in and/or on a vehicle. The transportable recording apparatus has a computing unit, a buffer accumulator, a switch-mode power supply, a camera for recording a continuous film and a fastening device for the camera. Moreover, a device for satellite-based position and time determination as well as an electric power supply device for the electric power supply of the components are provided. The camera, the fastening device and the device for satellite-based position and time determination are designed separately and spatially apart from the computing unit. The transportable recording apparatus can be dismantled into individual parts. Furthermore, the invention relates to a vehicle with the transportable recording apparatus.
Microscope, method of operating a microscope and method of imaging a sample
A microscope for imaging a sample is disclosed that may include at least one illumination objective arranged to eject an illumination light beam along an illumination path to illuminate the sample; an imaging objective arranged to receive detection light including at least a portion of the light ejected from the sample, wherein the detection light is propagated along a detection axis and the imaging objective has an imaging focal plane; an adjustment arrangement to linearly displace the illumination light beam and the imaging focal plane relative to each other along the detection axis; a sample holder arranged to receive a sample and having a portion which is transparent to the illumination light beam and to the detection light; and a holder support arranged to receive the sample holder and displace the sample holder relative to the imaging objective such that the imaging focal plane is positioned inside the sample holder.
Hybrid sensor shift platform
A hybrid sensor shift platform for an optical image stabilization (OIS) actuator mechanism in compact camera modules includes two or more substrates. A top substrate is composed of an organic material (e.g., a resin) to reduce mass, reduce magnetic interaction with permanent magnets, and improve reliability. One or more lower substrates of the hybrid sensor shift platform are ceramic substrates that provide the benefits of ceramics for connection to the image sensor. The organic substrate is connected via a solder bond process to the lower ceramic substrate(s). The connection between the substrates is reinforced with an under-fill of epoxy that surrounds the solder bonds, thus creating a full interface between the substrates within the overlap.
