VISION-ASSIST DEVICES AND METHODS OF CALIBRATING VISION-ASSIST DEVICES
Vision-assist devices and methods for calibrating a position of a vision-assist device worn by a user are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of calibrating a vision-assist device includes capturing a calibration image using at least one capturing device of the vision-assist device, obtaining at least one attribute of the calibration image, and comparing the at least one attribute of the calibration image with a reference attribute. The method further includes determining an adjustment of the at least one image sensor based at least in part on the comparison of the at least one attribute of the calibration image with the reference attribute, and providing an output corresponding to the determined adjustment of the vision-assist device.
OBJECT OR AREA BASED FOCUS CONTROL IN VIDEO
Embodiments are directed to an electronic device including a camera module capturing a video, a memory, and a processor sequentially storing, in the memory, each of a plurality of frames respectively focused during the video capture on a plurality of frame areas selected from the video.
Image capturing method and display method for recognizing a relationship among a plurality of images displayed on a display screen
An image capturing apparatus includes a capture part acquiring image data, and a display displaying an image on a display based on the image data. First information acquired includes at least either an azimuth angle or an elevation angle as a direction of the image and at least either an angle of view of the image or angle-of-view related information calculating the angle of view. When a second direction of a second image is included within a range of a first angle of view in a first direction of a first image, the second image is associated with the first image, and the first image is displayed within the display, and display is performed in a state in which the second image to be associated with the first image is overlapped on the first image within the display as the second image or second information indicating the second image.
Image processing apparatus, image processing method, and program
There is provided an image processing apparatus including a display image generation section configured to generate display image data by performing a display projection process in a case where panorama image data to be a display target is judged to be a full circumference panorama image.

CONTROLLING LIGHTING LOADS TO ACHIEVE A DESIRED LIGHTING PATTERN
A visible light sensor may be configured to sense environmental characteristics of a space using an image of the space. The visible light sensor may be controlled in one or more modes, including a daylight glare sensor mode, a daylighting sensor mode, a color sensor mode, and/or an occupancy/vacancy sensor mode. In the daylight glare sensor mode, the visible light sensor may be configured to decrease or eliminate glare within a space. In the daylighting sensor mode and the color sensor mode, the visible light sensor may be configured to provide a preferred amount of light and color temperature, respectively, within the space. In the occupancy/vacancy sensor mode, the visible light sensor may be configured to detect an occupancy/vacancy condition within the space and adjust one or more control devices according to the occupation or vacancy of the space. The visible light sensor may be configured to protect the privacy of users within the space via software, a removable module, and/or a special sensor.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL STABILIZED 360-DEGREE COMPOSITE IMAGE CAPTURE
Many embodiments can comprise a system. The system can comprise a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory can include instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: determine a direction of gravity in each image of a sequence of images around an object; estimate a center of mass of the object in each image of the sequence of images using the direction of gravity and dimensions of the object; stabilize each image in the sequence of images using the center of mass; and generate a 360 degree display of the object using each image in the stabilized sequence of images. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.
