Foot platform and rebounding device and method of using same

An inclinable rebounding exercise device comprising at least one inclinable rail having an upper and a lower end; an adjustable support assembly that allows the at least one rail to be adjusted to a desired inclination angle; a sliding platform slidably mounted with respect to the at least one rail; a support base; a foot platform assembly including a pair of resilient, independent foot platforms coupled to the support base. The pair of resilient, independent foot platforms allow for a soft landing achieved by absorbing energy therein, reducing joint stress and allowing greater muscle exercise.

An exercise device that exercises both flexor and extensor muscles. The exercise device includes a base. First and second sidewalls upwardly extend from opposing sides of the base. Each of the first and second sidewall has a plurality of teeth formed on an upper rim extending from the front end to the rear end of the base. At least a first gear is secured to a first end of an elongated rod and at least a second gear is secured to a second end of the elongated rod. A plurality of teeth of the first gear interlock with the plurality of teeth of the first sidewall and a plurality of teeth of the second gear interlock with the plurality of teeth of the second sidewall. A board rests on the elongated rod in between the first end and the second end.

A seated exercise unit includes a base raised from a floor and supported thereby. The base extends between a first end and an opposed second end. A resistance-generating assembly comprises a stationary band anchor attached to the base. The resistance-generating assembly includes a displaceable seat member removably mounted to the base and displaceable therealong between the first and second ends of the base. The seat member has a displaceable band anchor spaced apart from the stationary band anchor and displaceable with the seat member relative to the stationary band anchor. At least one resilient band is mountable to the stationary and displaceable band anchors and extends therebetween. The at least one resilient band generates resistance upon being elastically deformed by displacement of the displaceable band anchor relative to the stationary band anchor.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a climbing machine including a resistance device, a driving device, and two climbing devices. The driving device comprises an upper wheel set, an axial wheel set, and a lower wheel set. The axial wheel set includes a first axial wheel and a second axial wheel. Through a plurality of connecting members, the alternate up and down movements of the climbing device drive the upper wheel set and the lower wheel set to rotate in a first direction, the upper wheel set drives the first axial wheel to rotate in a second direction, and the lower wheel set drives the second axial wheel to rotate in the first direction.

A stationary exercise machine may include reciprocating hand members, such as handles, and/or reciprocating foot members, such as foot pedals. The reciprocating hand members may be operative to apply a first moment to a crankshaft, and the reciprocating foot members may be operative to apply a second moment to the crankshaft. The second moment may be different than the first moment. The reciprocating foot members may cause a user's feet to move along a closed loop path that is substantially inclined, such that the user's foot motion simulates a climbing motion more than a flat walking or running motion. The reciprocating hand members may be configured to move in coordination with the foot members via a linkage operatively coupling the hand members with the foot members. A resistance mechanism may apply resistance to crankshaft rotation, and the resistance mechanism may be adjustable while the user is using the machine.

A Body Lift Exercise Apparatus is provided which has a base frame member with a seat support member coupled thereon which moves upward and downward directions. The apparatus also has a user engagement member which pivotally mounts to the front of the base frame member. The back portion of the user engagement member is coupled to the seat support member. The user engages the front portion of the user engagement with their thighs and pivots this front portion in the downward direction, which produces upward movement in the back portion and thus in the seat support member. The opposite movement is also true. This allows the user to perform exercise routines on the lower body muscle areas while in a relatively seated position. Handle members and a back support member may also be a part of the apparatus.

Exercise machine

Described herein are embodiments of stationary exercise machines having reciprocating foot and/or hand members, such as foot pedals that move in a closed loop path. Some embodiments can include reciprocating foot pedals that cause a user's feet to move along a closed loop path that is substantially inclined, such that the foot motion simulates a climbing motion more than a flat walking or running motion. Some embodiments can further include reciprocating handles that are configured to move in coordination with the foot via a linkage to a crank wheel also coupled to the foot pedals. Variable resistance can be provided via a rotating air-resistance based mechanism, via a magnetism based mechanism, and/or via other mechanisms, one or more of which can be rapidly adjustable while the user is using the machine.
