Rotational fitness apparatus
10080920 · 2018-09-25 ·

A fitness apparatus includes a support assembly having a framework selectively mounted to one of a ground surface, building structure, or fitness apparatus. A foot assembly is rotatably coupled to the support assembly and configured such that the foot assembly is displaced above a ground surface. The foot assembly includes a pair of retention members configured to selectively support the feet of a person in a toes-pointed downwardly position and above the ground surface. The fitness apparatus that increases core muscle group activation by making traditional exercises more challenging. It is designed to have the user place their feet in a platform which then allows for three axis of rotation. Height adjustment gives the user more resistance. The largest benefit is that the user can perform these exercises without having to stop to re-adjust their feet.

Exercise apparatus with eddy current rail
10065062 · 2018-09-04 · ·

An apparatus and method operably coupled a movable member of an exercise apparatus to a carriage such a movement of the movable member moves the carriage along a rail. A magnetic portion carried by the carriage induces eddy currents in the rail to resist movement of the carriage along the rail to resist movement of the movable member.

An elliptical trainer includes a base and a movement unit. The base includes a stem formed thereon and two longitudinal bars, with each of the longitudinal bars comprising a track. The movement unit includes a sleeve supported on the stem, two bushing halves inserted in the sleeve, a shaft sandwiched between the bushing halves, two cranks connected to two opposite ends of the shaft, a first pedal including an end connected to one of the cranks, a second pedal including an end connected to the other crank, a first caster connected to an opposite end of the first pedal and movable to and fro along the track of the first longitudinal bar, and a second caster connected to an opposite end of the second pedal and movable to and fro along the track of the second longitudinal bar.

EXERCISE MACHINE WITH ADJUSTABLE STRIDE

A stationary exercise machine according to the present disclosure may include a frame, a crankshaft rotatable supported by the frame, first and second lower linkages, and first and second crank arms connected to opposite sides of the crankshaft such that rotation of either of the first or second crank arm causes rotation of the crankshaft. Each of the first and second lower linkages may be operatively connected to the crankshaft and to a respective one of first and second pedals. Each of the first and second lower linkages may include a reciprocating member operatively connecting the respective one of the pedals with respective one of the crank arms. In some examples, each of the first and second lower linkages may include an adjustable linkage connected between the reciprocating member and the respective crank arm, the adjustable linkage operable to vary a distance between an output end of the reciprocating member and an input end of the crank arm. In some examples, each of the pedals may be pivotally connected to the respective reciprocating members.

STAIR STEPPERS

The present disclosure relates to a stair steppers, comprising a base, a bracket and a motion mechanism, the base supports the bracket, and the motion mechanism is disposed on the bracket, the bracket comprises a main body fixed to the base and a guide rail hinged to the main body, the guide rail is disposed to be inclined to the base, the motion mechanism comprises pedal links, pedals and pedal cranks, the pedal is disposed on the pedal link, the pedal link is hinged to the pedal crank, the pedal cranks are further hinged to the main body of the bracket, a hinge point of the pedal crank and the pedal link is disposed to be spaced apart from a hinge point of the pedal crank and the main body, the pedal link is provided with an abutting portion which abuts against the guide rail and is reciprocatingly movable along the guide rail. Since the guide rail is hinged to the main body, it is feasible to adjust an inclination angle of the guide rail relative to the base so as to change a movement trajectory of the pedal links and thereby adjust the difficulty of exercise of the stair steppers. When an angle between the guide rail and the base is larger, the difficulty of exercise is higher, otherwise, the difficulty of exercise is lower.

Reverse deadlift apparatus
10004934 · 2018-06-26 ·

The embodiments herein relate to an exercise machine for training the muscles of the whole body while specifically targeting the muscles of the legs and back. Specifically, the embodiments herein relate to a Reverse Deadlift Apparatus which allows a trainee to mimic a barbell type deadlift exercise in a safer and more productive fashion. An additional benefit is that the Reverse Deadlift Apparatus encourages a lifter to use proper technique by requiring them to use more of their legs and less of their lower back during the lift. The result of using the Reverse Deadlift Apparatus on a regular basis is that a lifter will increase the strength and power of the muscles of the whole body and specifically will make improvements in the lower body. The added strength and power, along with optimized Deadlifting form, will help a lifter improve their performance in the actual barbell deadlift itself and in any sports requiring a strength or power component (e.g. Football, Baseball, Martial Arts, Wrestling, Powerlifting, Olympic Lifting, Tennis, etc.).

Exercise Machine With Variable Resistance System

The exercise machine with a variable resistance system includes a frame, an exercise implement movably connected to the frame, a main shaft rotatably connected to the frame, a main connector attached between the main shaft and the exercise implement, a plurality of resistance assemblies and a plurality of actuation assemblies adapted for selectively engaging or disengaging at least one of the plurality of resistance assemblies with respect to the main shaft. The plurality of resistance assemblies apply a total level of rotational resistance against the main shaft based on which of the plurality of resistance assemblies are engaged with the main shaft by the plurality of actuation assemblies.

Exercise machine

Described herein are embodiments of stationary exercise machines having reciprocating foot and/or hand members, such as foot pedals that move in a closed loop path. Some embodiments can include reciprocating foot pedals that cause a user's feet to move along a closed loop path that is substantially inclined, such that the foot motion simulates a climbing motion more than a flat walking or running motion. Some embodiments can further include reciprocating handles that are configured to move in coordination with the foot via a linkage to a crank wheel also coupled to the foot pedals. Variable resistance can be provided via a rotating air-resistance based mechanism, via a magnetism based mechanism, and/or via other mechanisms, one or more of which can be rapidly adjustable while the user is using the machine.
