Systems and methods for restricting transverse movement of a treadmill belt

A treadmill includes a frame having a front end and a rear end, substantially opposite the front end; a front shaft assembly coupled to the frame proximate the front end of the frame; a rear shaft assembly coupled to the frame proximate the rear end of the frame; a running belt disposed about the front and rear shaft assemblies; and a bumper coupled to the frame proximate the running belt such that the bumper is disposed between the running belt and the frame. The bumper includes a partially rounded surface and a substantially flat surface. In use, the partially rounded surface and the substantially flat surface of the bumper are configured to selectively engage and restrict movement of the running belt towards at least a portion of the frame.

Multifunctional Exercise Machine

A multifunctional exercise machine is an exercise machine that combines a stepper assembly and a stationary bicycle assembly into a single machine. The stepper assembly is positioned on a frame member while the stationary bicycle assembly is positioned on a stand member. The frame member and the stand member are both hingedly connected to a bridge positioned in between the frame member and the stand member. A stepper resetting mechanism is utilized to regulate the movement of a first step pedal and a second step pedal of the stepper assembly. The first step pedal and the second step pedal are slidably engaged to a first rail and a second rail of the frame member. The machine may be utilized in a standing position or in a seated position via an adjustable seat. A handlebar assembly may be utilized for user stability while exercising.

Rotational Fitness Apparatus

A fitness apparatus includes a support assembly having a framework selectively mounted to one of a ground surface, building structure, or fitness apparatus. A foot assembly is rotatably coupled to the support assembly and configured such that the foot assembly is displaced above a ground surface. The foot assembly includes a pair of retention members configured to selectively support the feet of a person in a toes-pointed downwardly position and above the ground surface. The fitness apparatus that increases core muscle group activation by making traditional exercises more challenging. It is designed to have the user place their feet in a platform which then allows for three axis of rotation. Height adjustment gives the user more resistance. The largest benefit is that the user can perform these exercises without having to stop to re-adjust their feet.

Multi-Purpose Abdominal and Core Exercise Machine
20170014678 · 2017-01-19 ·

A multi-purpose abdominal and core exercising machine is an apparatus that allows a user to exercise their abdominal muscles through a variety of guided movements. The apparatus includes an incline-adjustable frame, a track, a swiveling seat, a height-adjustable headrest, a first graspable pole, a second graspable pole, and a backrest. The track is mounted onto the incline-adjustable frame. The backrest and the swiveling seat supports the user's body as the backrest slides along the track and the swiveling seat is terminally fixed to the track. The height-adjustable headrest is mounted between the two grasping poles. The proximal end for each grasping pole is rotatably connected to the backrest, which allows the user to hold the distal end for each grasping pole. Pulling the grasping poles towards the user's abdomen allows for a movement by the apparatus to exercise the user's abdominal muscles.

TREADMILL WITH INTERMEDIATE MEMBER

A manually powered treadmill includes a front rotatable element and a rear rotatable element coupled to a frame; a bearing assembly at least partially supporting one of the front or rear rotatable elements; and a running belt disposed about the front and rear rotatable elements. The bearing assembly includes a predefined low viscosity bearing fluid. The running belt defines a non-planar running surface. The running belt includes a first endless belt and a plurality of slats, each slat having a first side and a second side and coupled to the first endless belt. Each slat in the plurality of slats defines at least one aperture, and the at least one aperture is structured to receive a fastener to facilitate coupling to the first endless belt.

SLIDING MACHINE

A sliding machine comprising a base and a guide rail arranged on the base, wherein a pedal assembly is arranged on the guide rail, which is slidably connected to the guide rail, and slides along the guide rail. The present invention adopts a special connection method between the elastic assembly and the pedal assembly, that is, one end of the elastic member is set on the base, and the other end is set on the pedal assembly through a connecting shaft, and the axial position of the connecting shaft is positioned by the frictional force between the connecting shaft and the pedal assembly. This design greatly simplifies the structure of the sliding machine. Compared to traditional sliding machines that use complex connection frames at the connection between the elastic device and the pedal, this design reduces the number and complexity of components, thereby lowering manufacturing costs.

An exercise machine comprising a resistance mechanism, a supporting frame, and a movable member which is movable relative to the supporting frame into and between a rest position and an extended position during performance of an exercise motion by a user. Movement of the movable member towards the extended position is resisted by the resistance mechanism. A stop device stops the movable member in the rest position, the stop device having an engagement member which engages and is able to translate along a stop surface on the supporting frame when the movable member is moved into the rest position.
