20190099649 · 2019-04-04 ·

An exercise assembly structured to perform different rowing routines characterized different rowing motions. A resistance device is movable within a chamber and is cooperatively structured therewith to resist such movement. A drive assembly includes two drive sections each independently connected in driving relation to said resistance device. A connector structure includes two connector members each attached to a handle and connected in driving relation to a different one of said drive sections. The handle is selectively movable through the plurality of different rowing motions, at least one of which results in the two drive sections concurrently driving the resistance member and being concurrently driven by the two connector members. At least one other rowing motion of the handle is defined by each drive section alternately driving the resistance member and being alternately driven by interconnected ones of said connector members.

Curved treadmill

A curved treadmill has a frame assembly, a handrail assembly, and a belt assembly. The frame assembly has a support frame, two arced guide tracks, two cushions, multiple guide wheels, and multiple positioning wheels. Each arced guide track is concaved downward. The cushions are mounted on the arced guide tracks. The guide wheels are mounted on the support frame. The positioning wheels are mounted between two ends of the support frame. The belt assembly includes two connection belts and multiple pedals. The connection belts are wrapped around the guide wheels, and one side of each connection belt abuts the positioning wheels. The pedals are mounted on the connection belts and optionally abut the cushions. Therefore, with the cushions, impacts may be absorbed and noises may be reduced. Besides, by abutting the positioning wheels, the connection belt may not be distorted sideward, and the noises are reduced further.

MANUAL TREADMILL AND METHODS OF OPERATING THE SAME

A treadmill is provided according to various embodiments herein. The treadmill includes a frame; a front shaft coupled to the frame; a rear shaft coupled to the frame; and a running belt disposed about the front and rear shafts, wherein the running belt assumes at least a portion of a curved running surface. The running belt includes: a first endless belt and a plurality of slats, each slat having a first side and a second side and coupled to the first endless belt, wherein each slat in the plurality of slats includes a user engagement surface provided on the first side of the slat and a rib positioned on the second side of the slat, wherein the rib extends away from the user engagement surface.

Multi-planar rotational platform and suspension device
10232218 · 2019-03-19 ·

The present invention relates to a device which enables a selective therapeutic exercise regimen by providing a tensioning mechanism attached to a rotatable platform along with the unique feature is where two trollies on curved rails operating on X-axis and Y-axis when pressure is applied, will work in unison to travel in any desired direction creating a unique spherically rotational reaction. The platform will react to changes in the operator's weight shifts and center of gravity placed upon it. When this novel multi-rotational aspect of the platform responds to subtle changes in the operator's center of gravity, movement of the platform will occur. These changes trigger muscular contractions around the joints of the operator responding to the rotation of the platform while the tensioning mechanism allows for selective resistance to the free movement of the platform enabling selective exercise and therapy routines for various muscle groups. Additionally, the present Multi-Planar Rotational Platform and Suspension Device offers easy scalability and uniform or non-uniform scaling in the X-axis, the Y-axis and/or the Z-axis.

STATIONARY EXERCISE APPARATUS

A lower back exercise apparatus exercises or imparts laterally and upwardly directed movements into a user's lower back when seated thereupon. The lower back exercise apparatus includes a lower base assembly, an upper seat assembly, and a motor assembly. The lower base assembly includes an upper, laterally concave base surface. The upper seat assembly includes a lower, laterally convex seat surface and an upper seat surface. The upper seat assembly is laterally ridable upon and movable relative to the lower base assembly. The motor assembly is drives a laterally directed, cylindrical arc length trajectory of the upper seat assembly relative to the lower base assembly. The concave and convex surfacing have a common radius of curvature with a common fulcrum point spatially located adjacent an upper portion of a user's lumbar spinal region. Lateral flexion is thus imparted into a user's lower back when a user is seated thereupon.

Stable treadmill slat

A motor-less leg-powered curved treadmill produced that allows people to walk, jog, run, and sprint without making any adjustments to the treadmill other than shifting the user's center of gravity forward and backwards. A closed loop treadmill belt running between front and rear pulley rollers is formed with a low friction running surface of transverse aluminum, wooden, plastic, rubber or carbon fiber slats attached to each other in a resilient fashion. An essential feature of treadmill is the concave shape of the upper portion of the belt running surface, the treadmill configurations ensure that this shape is maintained during actual use. These configurations prevent the concave upper running surface portion from being pulled taut into a flat shape between the front and rear pulley rollers. The slats of the treadmill each have an end view crossectional I-beam shape, for strength and stability of the slat positioned upon the treadmill belt.
