Embodiments provide a video camera configured to capture, compress, and store video image data in a memory of the video camera at a rate of at least about twenty three frames per second. The video image data can be mosaiced image data, and the compressed, mosaiced image data may remain substantially visually lossless upon decompression and demosaicing.

An exemplary display device is a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), the on-screen imager is referred to as an LCD imager. Without affecting the display functions of an LCD device, an image sensing module is provided behind or within an LCD unit in the LCD device. By controlling the liquid crystals in the LCD unit, the reflected light from an object placed against the LCD device to be imaged is allowed to pass through the LCD unit and projected onto an image sensor in the image sensing module to generate an image of the object. The imager includes an optical assembly having at least one wedge shaped light guide to collect and focus the reflected light from the object onto an image sensor, where the image sensor is disposed at an end of the wedge shaped light guide.

An image forming apparatus includes a wireless communication board on which a communication circuit that wirelessly communicates image data with an external device is mounted. The wireless communication board includes a first surface to which a magnetic sheet including a magnetic layer containing metal powder is. The wireless communication board also includes an antenna provided on a second surface opposite to the first surface of the wireless communication board. The antenna is used by the communication circuit to transmit and receive wireless radio waves. A region of the magnetic sheet on the first surface and a region of the antenna on the second surface overlap with each other in a thickness direction of the wireless communication board.

In accordance with an embodiment, a casing of an image formation apparatus includes a first support member and a second support member. The first support member comes into contact with a lower end of a first support leg part projecting downward from the optical scanning device and supports the lower end of the first support leg part. The second support member comes into contact with a lower end of a second support leg part different from the first support leg part projecting downward from the optical scanning device and supports the lower end of the second support leg part. The second support member is separated from the first support member in a non-contact state.

The short-range wireless communicator is provided on the upper surface of the housing in a range in which the mobile terminal does not come into contact with the operation panel when the mobile terminal is brought close to the short-range wireless communicator.
