Strength exercise mechanisms
A treadmill including a frame, an exercise deck attached to the frame, and a first push-up handle attached to the frame and elevated over the exercise deck.
Training apparatus
Training apparatus 1 includes exercise equipment 3, 4 mounted to a side surface 8a or a roof 19 of a land vehicle or for mounting to a surface such as a wall of a building or ship. The exercise equipment includes a support structure which is attached to the surface 8a or roof 19. In some embodiments the support structure is manoeuvrable by pivoting with respect to the surface or roof, whilst remaining attached thereto, between a stowed condition and an exercising condition.
EASY CHAIR
The present disclosure provides one example of an easy chair in light of market trends related to health and fitness. The easy chair of the present disclosure includes a seat body configured for a user to sit thereon, and further includes a monitoring part configured to determine whether the user is performing muscle strength training on the seat body and detect the user's performance of the muscle strength training, and a notification part configured to notify the user of a detection result of the monitoring part in a form of recognizable information.
Stretching device to restore and protect against the negative effects of prolonged sitting
The device and methods disclosed herein allow an individual to create and sustain a differential stretch to the anterior muscles and ligaments of the torso, hips and legs. The device includes a base frame, a vertical member secured to the base frame, a rotational lift lever secured to the vertical member at a pivot point, a lower extremity elevation member secured to the rotational lift lever, and at least one lower extremity attachment device secured to the lower extremity elevation member. In use, the device lifts an individual's legs above the ground, while the person is lying face down, so as to create a stretch in the anterior muscles, fascia, or ligaments. The device has various planes of rotation, allowing for differential stretching in various quadrants of the torso. The device is adjustable in height as well as displacement along a track within the base to accommodate different body types.
TRACK EXERCISE DEVICE
Disclosed is a track exercise device including at least two substantially parallel tracks, at least four movable platforms, wherein at least two movable platforms are on a first track, and wherein at least two movable platforms are on a second track. A transverse attachment attaches the movable platforms on adjacent tracks, a longitudinal attachment attaches the movable platforms on the same track, and a tilting adjustment provides for inclined or flat movement.
Exercise device and methods
Disclosed is an exercise device having a platform and a roller. The platform has a surface sized and shaped to support a body part of a user and a pair of handles. The roller is coupled to the platform and configured to rotate relative to the platform. The platform is configured to translate in a first direction when the roller rotates in a first direction of rotation and translate in a second direction when the roller rotates in a second direction of rotation.
PULL-UP DEVICE CAPABLE OF TRAINING FINGER GRIP FORCE
The invention discloses a pull-up device capable of training finger grip force. It is equipped with bracket to fix the left and right climbing components in the air. Meanwhile, the climbing component is equipped with knuckle receiving portion to permit the fingers to hold the knuckle receiving portion for pull-ups. With the setting of the climbing component, we no longer hold the crossbar, but just grip the climbing component by the fingers when we do pull-ups. Thus, the grip force of the knuckle muscles is exercised as well as the arm strength.
ASSISTIVE STRETCHING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
An assistive stretching device worn by a user to reduce physical stress while lifting to aid another individual in stretching and method is disclosed. The device includes a belt sized to fit around the torso of the user, first and second pulleys supported on the belt, first and second wrist attachments; first and second ankle attachments; first and second cords threaded through corresponding pulleys with one end attached to corresponding ankle attachments and the opposite end attached to corresponding wrist attachments. The pulleys operate to change the direction of the lifting force, making it easier to lift and stretch the anterior aspects of the musculature of the individual rather than lifting dead weight. An attachment including a dual pulley system may replace the first and second pulleys and includes an arm supporting a pulley at each end and openings to provide leverage adjustments when attaching the arm to the belt.
Exercise machine with multiple contact surfaces
An exercise machine with multiple contact surfaces for providing secondary exercise support platforms positioned at various planes relative to the horizontal plane of the primary exercising platforms, the secondary platforms further serving as handles used during the performance of exercises. The exercise machine with multiple contact surfaces generally includes a frame, a carriage movably attached to the rail, and a first support structure and a second support structure attached to the frame near the first end. The support structures each include one or more platforms having an upper surface that is positioned above the base plane of the carriage.
Abdominal muscle exercising apparatus
Improved exercise techniques in a more sanitary environment are achieved by providing a personal exercise mat that lays flat when used, can be easily cleaned between uses, and is easily stored and transported. The mat is adapted to be detachably coupled to handholds and footholds that are employed when the mat is in use and stored separately from the mat in a single carrying case with the mat.
