Disclosed are various examples for network printer detection and authentication for managed device deployment. In one example, a computing environment can receive an identifier from a client device over a network, where the client device detects the identifier based on a wireless transmission performed by a transmitter in association with a print operation assigned to a network printer. The computing environment can determine whether an authentication is required at the network printer in association with the print operation and cause an agent application executable on the client device to obtain authentication data. An authentication can be performed based on the authentication data received from the client device and, in response to a successful authentication, causes the print operation to be performed by the network printer.

An image forming apparatus that forms an image on a recording medium includes: an image former that forms an image on a recording medium; an image reader that reads an image formed on a recording medium; an adjuster that adjusts the image former on a basis of a reading result obtained by the image reader by reading an image formed on a recording medium by the image former; and a processor configured to output, to an external apparatus used for diagnosis of the image forming apparatus, the reading result of the image formed on the recording medium by the image former when adjustment is performed by the adjuster.

The image forming apparatus includes the power supply board for generating a +24V power supply voltage and a driver board for driving a load for forming an image, and an engine control board for controlling an operation of a driver board. When the additional input mode is set up, the control unit-side controller offers a display of a setup change suggestion of the image output conditions for the next input on the display screen at the stage where the first image data input has been completed.
