Pivoting board exercise device
A pivot board exercise device has a top circular part that may rotate in relation to a bottom circular part, and a unique unibody or complex multi-arm resistance mechanism is secured at its center to a rotational center platform of the top circular part, and is secured at the end of each arm to posts projecting from the bottom circular part. The unibody multi-arm resistance mechanism is a single piece of resilient/flexible material, the complex multi-arm resistance mechanism has multiple arms attached at the ends to the bottom part, so when the top of the invention is rotated relative to the bottom, resistance is offered, the resistance increasing with rotation and occurring regardless of the direction of rotation.
PORTABLE AND FOLDABLE GLUTEUS MAXIMUS BRIDGING AND HIP THRUSTING EXERCISE APPARATUS
An apparatus that satisfies the need for a portable and foldable exercise equipment to perform glute bridge, hip thrust and other resistance band exercises without the need for additional equipment. The apparatus includes opposing panels hingedly connected, and accommodations to affix resistance bands to the panels. A cross member is preferably hingedly connected to one panel and extends through an opening and engages the other panel. A resistance band may include an adjustable belt so that a user may securely fasten himself or herself between the opposing panels and the resistance band to perform the glute bridge, hip thrust or other exercises.
PLANKING EXERCISE BELT
A planking exercise belt assists the user in performing a planking exercise regimen by alerting the user when a proper plank position is not maintained during performance of the regimen. The planking exercise belt includes a belt that is adjustably secured about the user's lower torso and waist. An adjustable strap interconnects the belt and a weight. A connector is provided on the belt to removably attach the strap to the belt. When a user droops or does not engage their core muscle groups, a tension in the strap is relieved to alert the user to the poor form in performing the exercise. When the user elevates their buttocks, the weight elevates from the ground to alert the user of this improper form.
Functional training equipment with multiple movement planes for back exercises
A back exercise machine includes: a resistance element; a user support; a first movement element, the first movement element having: a column; and a first connecting element having a pivot point such that the user support is able to pivot about a first axis associated with the first connecting element, wherein the first connecting element is movably coupled to the column such that the first connecting element is able to move along a path defined by the column; and a second movement element, the second movement element having: a rail; and a second connecting element having a pivot point such that the user support is able to pivot about a second axis associated with the second connecting element, wherein the second connecting element is movably coupled to the rail such that the second connecting element is able to move along a path defined by the rail.
Exercise assembly
An exercise assembly for resistance exercises includes a base that is configured to position on a horizontal surface. A post is coupled to and extends perpendicularly from the base. A beam is rotationally coupled to and extends bidirectionally from the post. A first plate is coupled to and centrally positioned above the post. The first plate is padded and configured to seat a user. Each of a pair of rods is slidably coupled to and extends bidirectionally from the beam between the first plate and a respective opposing end of the beam. The rods are configured to selectively couple to the hands and feet of the user. A plurality of bands, which is resilient, is selectively couplable to and extends between the rods and the first plate. The bands are configured to selectively resist movement of the rods along the beam.
Exercise devices and systems
An exercise device includes a pivot adjustably positioned at an intermediate point along the length of an elongate support element. One or more lower body supports are mounted on the elongate support element on a first side of the pivot and one or more upper body supports mounted on the elongate support on a second side of the pivot. The device may be used in push up, sit up, inverted pull up or leg raise modes.
Exercise machine
An exercise machine is described. The exercise machine includes a frame formed by a pair of front legs pivotally connected with a pair of rear legs. The frame is movable between an expanded position (for use) where the pair of front legs are pivoted away from the pair of rear legs and a collapsed position (for storage) where the pair of front legs are pivoted toward the pair of rear legs. One or more swinging arms hang from and are pivotally connected with the frame. A swinging platform is connected with the swinging arms. Thus, a user can position a body part upon the swinging platform and perform an exercise by swinging the swinging platform.
Exercise apparatus and methods
An exercise device and methods for using the exercise device. The exercise device is a spherical structure having a rigid surface and an opening therein for the user's hand to grasp a handle affixed in the center of the spherical structure. A series of exercises may be performed with the exercise device, including push-ups, rows and swings.
Methods of resistance training to arm and leg movements while running
A method for resistance training to arm and leg movement can include connecting a horizontally oriented raised weight base secured to a moveable sled in a spaced apart relationship, mounting a agility box, threading a first flexible and extendable one piece stretch cord through a plurality of aligned first upper rollers, securing a static non-extending stretch cord between the moveable sled and a subject, pulling on the first flexible and extendable one piece stretch cord connected to the moveable sled by the subject to receive a first load of resistance causing a physiological change to a targeted part of the subject and simultaneously receiving a second load of resistance to a targeted part of the subject while pulling the moveable sled with the static non-extendable stretch cord.
EXERCISE APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING A GLUTEAL BRIDGE MOVEMENT
The present disclosure provides an exercise apparatus designed to allow a user to perform a gluteal bridge, typically with resistance, to improve the strength of the user's posterior hip and gluteal muscles. The exercise apparatus is configurable for use in different environmentsin a gym, fitness center or training facility, a spa or studio, or a home gym. The exercise apparatus includes a frame assembly, a bench assembly, and a resistance assembly. The bench assembly is pivotally connected to the frame assembly to provide an elevated pivot point about which the bench assembly pivots when the user performs the gluteal bridge movement. The resistance assembly is operably connected to the bench assembly and provides a resistance force that the user overcomes in order to pivotally move the bench through the gluteal bridge movement. The resistance assembly can include a cable, pulley and weight stack, or an elastically deformable band.
