FULL BODY EXERCISE APPARATUS AND SUSPENSION TRAINER
A fully portable exercise system and apparatus utilized for exercising, stretching, and training multiple muscle groups of the body of a user. The apparatus has at least one closeable pocket and fixation rings for securing and carrying accessories, such as attachable handgrips, adjustable suspension straps or lines, and elastic bands. Another configuration illustrates a suspension training system comprising non-elastic suspension sub-assemblies, elastic suspension sub-assemblies and handgrips, configurable with or without the portable exercise apparatus. The apparatus and methods of use provide the user with a plurality of configurations for assisted exercise regimens and the flexibility to exercise anywhere. The apparatus is adaptable to be worn about the waist of a user, carried as a bandolier about the user's body or utilized as a releasably fixed suspension trainer.
Multifunctional curved board
A multi-functional curved board used as a support for legs of a user and for general maintenance of muscle strength, the multi-functional curved board having one or more curved bodies (1) including a radius of curvature, a longitudinal axis, and at least one raised foot support. The multi-functional curved board can be bent in the direction transverse to the radius of curvature to enable the multi-functional curved board to rotate around the longitudinal axis.
Systems and Methods for Providing Ergonomic Chairs
A chair for providing support to a user's spine to improve posture and for providing ways for the user to perform exercises. The chair may include a flexible connection that enables a back support to move side to side through a sidebending range of motion of the user. The back support, which may include a flexible chair spine, may be configured to adapt to the curvature of the user's spine when the user is seated in the chair. A seat of the chair may include channels and vents to improve air circulation within the seat.
Exercise and sitting apparatus and method
An exercise apparatus comprises a main body with a cavity that can be selectively covered with a lid. The main body is angled to increase the range of motion of a user of the apparatus. At least a portion of the lid is selectively housed within the cavity. A smaller scale embodiment of the exercise apparatus can be utilized as a sitting apparatus that corrects posture while a user is in a seated position. A method of exercise comprises a variety of steps which can be performed by a user while the user remains on his or her back.
Multi-functional exercise apparatus
The present invention relates to a multi-functional exercise apparatus, and particularly to a multi-functional exercise apparatus which is safe and allows various exercises with different setups to be performed by means of a single apparatus. The present invention, relating to a multi-functional exercise apparatus provided so as to impart a sense of stability to a user when exercising while at the same time allowing various exercises with different setups to be performed by means of a single apparatus, comprises: a plate-shaped body (A) forming the floor surface and having a space in the interior thereof; fixed frames (100) fixedly disposed upwardly on both sides of the body (A); rotatable frames disposed upwardly on both sides of the body (A); handle parts (200) connected on one side of the rotatable frames and provided so as to be movable forwards and backwards; and a foot plate part rotatably provided on upper surface of the body (A) and connected to the other side of the rotatable frames. The multi-functional exercise apparatus according to the present invention imparts a sense of stability to a user as the rotatable frame comprises a plurality of linked sections and connects the handle parts and foot plate part, allowing the user to exercise by rotating not the entire rotatable frames but only the handle parts which are comparatively short compared to the rotatable frames. Furthermore, each linked section of the rotatable frames is rotatably attached to the handle part or to the side of the fixed frame, allowing the rotatable frames to stably transmit driving power from the handle parts (200) to the foot plate part and to be changed so as to allow various exercises with different setups to be performed.
EXERCISE MACHINE
An exercise machine includes a frame for resting on the ground, and a footboard element which oscillates with respect to the frame about a first axis and a second axis which are mutually perpendicular.
The exercise machine further includes a handgrip element which oscillates with respect to the frame in an oscillating manner about a first axis and a third axis which are mutually perpendicular.
The footboard element and the handgrip element are functionally connected to each other in order to move in a substantially synchronous manner during the respective oscillation.
EXERCISE APPARATUS
A convertible side plank and balance exercise device includes a platform and a base extending rearwardly from the platform. The convertible exercise device has a circular or oval front perimeter that extends around the platform. The base has a domed rear surface. A front side of the device includes left and right footwells for receiving a left shoe and a right shoe when the device is in a side plank exercise configuration. The device further includes removable left and right footwell inserts that are removably insertable into the footwells to provide a flat front surface on the front side of the device in a balance exercise configuration. The base includes an air chamber with an inflation and deflation valve and a distensible rear panel comprising the domed rear surface, the rear panel collapsing for storage and shipping when the air chamber is deflated.
Unsupported pelvic / spine, third class lever exercise system and method
The invention is embodied in an exercise system that can allow its user to counterbalance the effects associated with a predominantly sedentary lifestyle though a fitness device that comprises a combination of (a) supporting the lower body in a manner that permits a user's upper body to act as a third class lever with the user's hips operating as fulcrum and (b) engaging in resistance exercises with the upper body in a horizontal position, unsupported above the greater trochanter.
Two-Handed Crank-Action Exercise Device and Method
A two-handed crank action exercise device includes a crank mechanism that is supported at a spaced elevation above ground level, and features a crank arm radiating outwardly away from a rotational axis and a hand grip carried on the crank arm at a radial distance from the rotational axis for manual grasping by a user to drive rotation of the crank arm. An adjustable resistance mechanism is coupled to the crank mechanism to provide an adjustable amount of resistance to said crank mechanism. The hand grip is of sufficient length to enable simultaneous manual grasping thereof by both hands of said user for two-handed operation of said crank mechanism.
