A second end of the power arm or lever is arranged on a retaining element in a way pivotable about a pivot axis at a first articulated joint. A compression-spring element can be articulated, by way of a first end of the compression-spring element at a first point of articulation on the power arm and articulated, by way of a second end of the compression-spring element at a second point of articulation on the retaining element. A cable-pull arrangement has a cable and is fixed in a releasable manner in a spatial relationship to the exercising device, independently of the exercising device, by means of a first fixing device and is able to be combined with the power arm of the exercising device by means of a second fixing device, so that the cable-pull arrangement is connectible to the exercising device in order for training to take place.
BAR AND HAND GRIPS KIT FOR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
A kit has an elongate bar connectable to a cable of a pulley cable exercise machine, left hand grip, right hand grip, and a plurality of fasteners that make the left and right hand grips repeatedly, removably attachable to the bar. The bar has a plurality of elongate slots and a plurality of bores, each oriented transverse to a respective slot. Each of the left and right hand grips are freely rotatable in two dimensions and has a connector pivot shaped to be received in any of the slots with a second eyelet aligned with a respective one of the bores. When assembled, a fastener is received in the bore having the second eyelet of the left hand grip and in the bore having the second eyelet of the right hand grip. Each fastener defines a pivot point about which the respective hand grip pivots within the respective slot.
STANDING FORWARD BEND BENCH PRESS APPARATUS
A standing forward bend bench press apparatus is provided. The standing forward bend bench press apparatus having a horizontal support beam containing a first support member fused at a front end and to a midway point of a second support member. A rear vertical ground support fused at a rear end of the first support member and two leading vertical ground supports fused at each end of the second support member. Two angled support beams each containing a vertical support member fused to an angled support member and coupled to the horizontal support beam. Two swing arms each rotatably coupled to the leading vertical ground supports above the second support member and having a handle rotatably affixed to a top of the swing arms via a hinge. Two stops each fused to the rear of the leading vertical ground supports below the swing arms and the leading vertical ground support.
Folding exercise rack system
A folding exercise rack system for providing an exercise rack that may be easily and compactly stored when not in use. The folding exercise rack generally includes a plurality of extension members pivotably connected to wall-connected mounting brackets. Upright support members connected to the extension members support a barbell and exercise bar. The exercise rack is pivotable from an extended exercise position into a plurality of selectable compact storage positions substantially parallel with and closely adjacent to the wall. The mounting brackets include a plurality of selectable connection points to determine how much space is present between the wall and exercise rack in the storage positions. One connection point allows a retractable exercise bench to be stored in the space between the wall and exercise rack. Mechanisms are provided for locking the exercise rack in a plurality of selected positions.
Baby Weight Stroller
An article of manufacture providing an exercise device for work-out with a stroller according to the present invention includes the stroller having a frame having a front portion and a rear portion, a front wheel assembly coupled to the front portion of the frame, a pair of rear wheels coupled to the rear portion of the frame and a handle coupled to the rear portion of the frame above the pair of rear wheels and a plurality of barbells coupled across the stroller for supporting removable weights on both ends of the barbells. A first barbell coupled across the rear portion of the frame between the pair of rear wheels and the handle. A second barbell coupled across front wheel assembly. A third barbell coupled across the handle.
Grip apparatus for exercise equipment and method for making thereof
The present disclosure relates to a grip apparatus for exercise equipment, the grip apparatus comprising: a first annular member having a first annular sidewall and a first flange extending radially inwardly from the first annular sidewall; a second annular member having a second annular sidewall and a second flange extending radially .[.inwardly.]. .Iadd.outwardly .Iaddend.from the second annular sidewall, a diameter of the second annular sidewall being less than a diameter of the first annular sidewall, the second annular member being positioned within the first annular member whereby the first annular sidewall, the second annular sidewall, the first flange and the second flange define together an annular chamber; a handle member connected to the second annular sidewall; and a bearing in the annular chamber, the first annular sidewall frictionally engaging a first race of the bearing and the second annular sidewall frictionally engaging a second race of the bearing.
Combination Exercise Assembly And Method Of Use
A combination exercise assembly for performing aerobic and strength training exercises includes a base, which can be positioned on a substantially horizontal surface. A stationary bicycle is engaged to the base so that a user positioned on a seat of the stationary bicycle faces a first end of the base. A lat pulldown machine engaged to the base proximate to a second end of the base is positioned for engagement by the user positioned on the seat of the stationary bicycle. The stationary bicycle is pedaled to perform aerobic exercise and the lat pulldown machine resists a pulldown motion to perform strength training exercises.
Resistance training exercise device
The present disclosure relates to a resistance training exercise device that includes a frame; a holder coupled to the frame, the holder defining a lever channel for receiving a forearm of a user; the holder and the frame configured to rotate with the forearm about an elbow relative to an upper arm when the user is performing a rotary resistance training exercise; and a weight support for receiving one or more weights thereon, the weight support fixed to the frame and spaced apart from the holder in a direction selected to maintain, throughout the resistance exercise, an angle between the upper arm and the weight support that is greater by a constant value than an angle between the upper arm and the lever channel.
Isometric exercise system having improved accuracy and consistency for applied force determinations
An isometric exercise system comprised of a network-enabled isometric exercise apparatus, force correction equations, and an isometric exercise companion software application. The isometric exercise apparatus can include force-receiving components, a measurement component, a pivot assembly, and a structural assembly. The measurement component can measure the amount of applied force. The pivot assembly can rotationally transfer the applied force to the measurement component. Force analysis of exercises can indicate that only a tangential component of the applied force is mechanically transferred to the measurement component via the pivot assembly. The force correction equations can translate the measured force into the tangential force transferred by the pivot assembly. The isometric exercise companion software application can present the amount of weight manipulated by the user to perform the exercise calculated using the force correction equation and the measured force. This calculation can have greater accuracy and consistency than utilizing the measured force.
